[Important] Southeast Asia Launch FAQ

General

Q: When will official launch for Valiant Force begin?
A: Official SEA launch begins on November 1, 2016 (GMT+8). This is limited to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Update: On November 3, Valiant Force is also available in Brunei, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos.

Q: When will Valiant Force launch in other regions?
A: After Southeast Asia, we are looking to launch the game in Taiwan (including Hong Kong and Macau). We are aiming for a launch in North America and Europe in 2017.

Regions such as Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam will most likely have local publishers operating Valiant Force to provide the best localized support.

Q: Which platforms will Valiant Force be available on?
A: Valiant Force will be available on Google Play (Android) and App Store (iOS).

Q: Is Valiant Force playable on tablet devices?
A: Definitely! Valiant Force can be played on tablet devices which meet the system requirements.

Q: Is there a landscape mode for Valiant Force?
A: There is no landscape mode for Valiant Force. The game is built in portrait mode to allow convenient one-handed gameplay anytime, anywhere.

Q: Is there a ranking reset for Arena during official launch? Will the Arena ranking reset regularly after official launch?
A: There will be a ranking ladder reset on October 31, 2016, the day before official SEA launch. Milestones achieved and Bloodstones obtained will not be affected.

There is a weekly bracket ranking reset for the Arena, rather than a full ranking reset. This system will allow players who enter the Arena later to be able to climb up the rankings.

Q: Where can I obtain the latest news and information about Valiant Force?
A: There are several different channels, and here are some of them.

Q: I am totally new to Valiant Force. Where can I learn more about the game?
A: There are several ways to learn more about Valiant Force. Here are some recommended channels.

A: Yes, players can switch languages through the game settings (top left hero portrait). The available languages now are: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Thai, and Bahasa Indonesia.

Server

Q: Are players on iOS and Android devices able to add each other as friends and the status of each other?
A: Yes, both iOS and Android players are in the same server, hence everyone is able to add each other as friends in the game!

Q: Is there a new server for official launch?
A: No, there is no new server for official launch. Currently, we do not plan to open new servers regularly.

Q: Is there a server wipe?
A: No, there is no server wipe, data wipe, or any wipes.

Q: Which timezone is the server following?
A: The server time, which can be seen in the Post Office building (mailbox), follows the GMT+8 timezone.

Q: Is there fixed weekly server maintenance?
A: There is no fixed weekly maintenance for Valiant Force. When there is a maintenance for game updates or emergency ones to fix bugs, announcements will be made in-game, forum, and on the Valiant Force Facebook page.

Q: Will there be compensation given out for server maintenance?
A: There should be compensation given out to all players, unless stated otherwise.

Q: Where is the game server located?
A: The game server is currently located in Southeast Asia.

Code redeem

Q: When will I receive my pre-register code containing Leandra and other goodies?
A: Please check your email address used to pre-register, including inside the “Junk Mail” section. The pre-register codes will be sent out within 1 week after official launch on 1 November, 2016. Hence, the final date of us sending out the codes is 8th November, 2016.

Q: What about other event codes, such as the one for GameStart 2016 hashtag event?
A: We will either send the codes out within 2 weeks after official launch, or mail the prizes to your Post Office building (mailbox) in the game.

Q: Where and how can I claim the codes?
A: Please proceed to this website which will go live shortly after official launch -http://www.playvaliantforce.com/redeem/

Q: Is there any deadline to claim the game codes, such as pre-registration and the ones from various live event?
A: There is currently no deadline for the claiming of codes. Please contact us via Facebook message if you have trouble claiming the codes or have yet to receive the items within 24 hours.

Q: Can my friend use my pre-registration code if I have uninstalled the game or when my phone doesn't support Valiant Force?
A: Each code can only be claimed one time. Once it is claimed by one account, the code cannot be used in the future. There is no restriction on which account claims the code.

Technical

Q: What is the minimum requirement to run Valiant Force?
A: Android OS 4.0.3 or higher, 500MB free space, and 1GB RAM

Q: I am playing Valiant Force through an emulator (Nox, Bluestacks, etc). Will I be banned?
A: No, you will not be banned for playing Valiant Force using an emulator. However, no support will be provided if any bugs occur as the game is developed for mobile devices. We strongly recommend everyone to download the game from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS).

Payment

Q: What payments methods are there for the Android version?
A: You can buy gems using your account balance in Google Wallet. The balance can be increased using Credit Card, Debit Card, Paypal, or even local telecoms partners.

Q: What payment methods are there for the iOS version?
A: You can buy gems using your iTunes account balance.

Q: Are there any other payment methods?
A: For Android devices, you can purchase a Google Play gift card to topup your Google Wallet balance. For iOS devices, you can purchase an iTunes gift card to topup your account balance.

These 2 physical cards are sold in selected computer shops, and also 24-hour convenience stores such as 7-Eleven (may differ for different countries).

A: We currently do not provide support for playing Valiant Force on emulators, as the game is developed for Android and iOS devices.

Q: Help! There is a message saying that my account has been suspended!
A: Please contact the email stated on the message, which shows up when you are trying to log into the game. We are taking a tough stance against possible cheaters, and will send out punishments to all caught by our policing system.

Q: I have max prestige level! I demand my account to be unbanned!
A: We take a tough stance against the usage of illegal third party software to gain an unfair advantage over the other players. It is unlikely a permanent ban will be overturned, no matter the prestige level of the account. This is in accordance to the terms and conditions agreed when players first started playing Valiant Force.

Q: I am asked for my Player ID or FunPlus ID during live events or by the customer service team. Where do I locate them?

Q: Can I reset my Player ID or FunPlus ID?
A: No, you cannot reset them.

Q: How can I bind my account to prevent data loss?

Q: Can I unbind my account from Facebook or email?
A: We do not currently support unbinding due to security issues. If you have a special request, please send an email to cs-playvaliantforce@funplus.com with your Player ID and FunPlus ID.
