Valiants Revamp 2.0

As the hero pool of Valiant Force continues growing, we are truly beginning to see fresh hero combinations with new and interesting strategies. Although we are excited to constantly be adding more heroes to the game, we also want to go back and revamp some of our classic heroes. As the Valiants are truly the strongest heroes in all of Arathos, we would like to start by revising the skills of all 6 Valiants.

Before we decided to share these with you guys, we have already started revamping the skills of the Valiants first to allow them stand out from other heroes. However, we have yet to confirm whether the revamped skills will be the most suitable for them right now. We still need to further monitor the core gameplay of Valiant Force in the Arena, Events, and Raid Dungeons to decide how each Valiants can be useful in each of these areas.

We are looking forward to finalizing each of the Valiants’ roles soon, but we still hope to allow our community to provide us feedback on our ideas. We definitely would love to hear the voices of our players who have extensively used Valiants in-game, and we welcome more ideas on how to revise them best!

Hi guys, MiloD here! To be more efficient, I will be typing out the new skills as opposed to screenshotting the skills. This will allow us to speed up the discussion process! We are all very impressed with what you guys have produced thus far and have taken note of all your concerns as well as suggestions :) 

With that, here's two Freyas for you to think about!

Freya Dragoon (All skills at level 30)
Old Dragonfang: (6CD)
Leaps onto an empty tile, dealing damage around it equal to 155% of Hero's ATK (4 tile AOE radius)
Stuns Enemies, disabling those affected for 1 turn(s).

Old Overpowering Strikes:
When Hero attacks, there is a 35% chance to:
Trigger Everyone in aura to Stun an enemy for 1 turn(s).

New Dragonfang: (6CD)

When Hero attacks, there is a 40% chance to:
Trigger others in aura to attack with 85% of their ATK

New Cleaving Rampage: (5CD)
Increase ATK of Party by 25% of Hero's ATK for 2 turn(s).
Pulls Enemy to empty tile in front of caster.
Deals magic damage equal to 220% of Hero's ATK to Enemy

New Imperial Order: 
When Hero attacks, there is a 40% chance to:
Trigger others in aura to attack with 120% of their ATK

Happy Vesak Day everyone! MiloD is back with some concepts for Shizu for your discussion! I am always trying to make the format more readable for you guys, so do bear with me as we go along :D Changes are now BOLDED.

Shizu Magebane
Old Thousand Cherry Blossoms (CD: 7)
125-155% based on Crit (+ shaped AOE)
Stuns enemies for 2 turns

Old Crippling Blight
When Shizu attacks, there is a 30% chance to:
Trigger others in aura to attack with 75% of their attack
Trigger others in aura to stun enemies for 1 turn.

New Thousand Cherry Blossoms (CD:6)
Debuff 40% Mag for 2 turns (3x3 AOE)
120-150% Damage based on ATK (3x3 AOE)
66% Chance to Stun enemies for 2 turns

New Crippling Blight
When Shizu attacks, there is a 35% chance to:
Trigger others in aura to attack with 85% of their attack
Trigger others in aura to stun enemies for 1 turn.

Shizu Assassin
Old Hundred Crimson Slash
100% Chance to stun enemy for 2 turns
135% damage over time based on Hero's Crit for 3 turns
Stealth Shizu for 2 turns

New Hundred Crimson Slash
100% Chance to stun enemy for 2 turns
135% damage over time based on Hero's ATK for 3 turns
Amplify 25% damage to enemy for 2 turns (new!)

No changes to Shizusin's passive!

Whats up everyone! Always happy to see all these comments coming in!

Here are some concepts for GS Kane and SS Kane. First of all, GS itself has a pretty strong skill, just overshadowed by GR Kane because everyone loves the Grand Ranger! Thus we are just buffing him up a little more to make him more appealing to the users.

Gunslinger Kane
We are beefing up his active's damage just by a little bit.
Old Incendiary Rounds (CD:4)
Damage 1 target 115-145% based on ATK
Stuns 1 target for 2 turns

Old Unforgiving Raid
When Kane attacks, 40% chance to trigger
85% damage based on ATK

New Incendiary Rounds (CD:4)
Damage 1 target 120-150% based on ATK
Stuns 1 target for 2 turns
Silence Aura 1 target for 2 turns

New Unforgiving Raid
When Kane attacks, 40% chance to trigger
100% damage based on ATK


Sharpshooter Kane
Old Bullet Storm (CD:7)
Damage 1 target 170-230% based on ATK
Buff ATK 25% based on CRIT on self for 3 turns

Old Nature's Fury
For every Ally in aura, buff Kane 10% Atk based on CRIT

New Bullet Storm (CD:6)
Buff ATK 25% based on ATK on self for 3 turns (Cast this first!)
Damage 1 target 160-220% based on ATK
Stealth self for 3 turns (Sniper!)


New Nature's Fury
For every Ally in aura, buff Kane 15% ATK based on ATK

Rune Magus will become more and more important as new metas arrive to capture flags. Is Zedd enough? Is Ronan sufficient? Why not bring all 3 of them in?? Muahahaha

Welcome back to the fold Elementalist Kiera. We missed you. We are essentially giving her a huge damage boost by reducing her CD and increasing her burning ground effect. At the same time, we are giving her more survivability. She will still have the highest MAG ratio, along with a good dose of defence.

Elementalist Kiera
Old Sacred Blaze (CD:7)
Deals 135-165% damage based on MAG (3x3 radius)
Burns ground for 35% of MAG for 2 turns (Units that got hit)


Old Eye of the Storm
Buff 25% MAG based on MAG to allies in aura

New Sacred Blaze (CD:6)
Deals 130-160% damage based on MAG (3x3 radius)
Burns ground for 50% of MAG for 2 turns (Units that got hit)
33% Chance to Stun enemies for 1 turn

New Eye of the Storm
Buff 20% MAG based on MAG to allies in aura
Buff 10% DEF based on MAG to allies in aura

These are the concepts that we have for the Valiants thus far! We will continue to receive all your feedback, improve and tweak the figures or change their skills as we go along to prepare for their complete revamp.

Hi everyone! MiloD here!! My apologies for the lateness in this post, we have been really busy! Here are some of our concepts for Lucille for your reference! Almighty Kiera will be released tomorrow! :D 


As you can see, we want to bring back single target heal, thus we are reducing her cooldown while retaining the essence of AB Lucille.

Archbishop Lucille
Old Gift of the Gods (CD:5)
Heals Ally or Self for 210-270% of MAG
Invincible shield 100% for 2 turns (Single Target)
Cleanse Ally or Self (Single Target)


New Gift of the Gods(CD:4)
Heals Ally or Self for180-240%of MAG
Invincible shield 100% for 2 turns (Single Target)
Cleanse Ally or Self (Single Target)

Spirit Walker Lucille is probably the most unpopular healer hero at the moment. We want to give her a different form of utility in her active skill!

Spirit Walker Lucille
Old Otherworldly Journey (CD:5)
Heals all for 800 + 10-40% of MAG for 3 turns
Teleport a target to a random tile

Old Karmic Justice
When Hero gets healed,
40% chance to trigger ally to attack with 85% of their attack

New Otherworldly Journey(CD:4)
Cast 10-40% Amplify to all enemies for 2 turns
Cast Haste -1 CD to an Ally or Self

New Karmic Justice
When Hero gets hit,
75% chance to heal 35% based of hero's MAG (Ally and Self)

I would suggest to make Valiant not only the strongest​ (Base Stat) but also the uniquest..
The reason why Lucille Inquisitor and Kane Grand Ranger still in use is because they have unique Skill / Aura..
There is no Hero beside Lucille Inquisitor that can cast Invincible Shield..
Same as Lucille, there's no Hero beside Kane GR that can Trigger and Stun through his Aura in a long range attack (surprisingly, Aaron Marksman has the similiar aura except he cannot Trigger)

Although, we have other unique Skill and Aura in other Valiant such as Lucille WD (All Area Charm), Shizu Samurai (Flow of the Sword)..
Lucille Archbishop also have similiar shield with her Inquisitor role but it less shining because the advantages​ of Party Shield is very usefull in most situation compare to One Unit Shield even if it require less turn to cast..

The point is, if you revamp Valiant with generic Skill and Aura -I'm afraid the regular Hero will easily overpowered them (again) because these regular Hero can be MLBed easier.
Of course, I would choose Kai Ninja lvl 40 over than Shizu Ninja lvl 30..

This is a my general thoughts to make Valiants not only the "Strongest" but also the "Uniquest" in the same time without needed to make them "Overpowered​" (thus will create another Cancer, which is hurt the gaming experience)

I've seen and read other user great suggestion but some of them are completely contradict or irrelevant with the lore from each Role / Job itself..

And I have just noticed​ that the "Taunt" is being removed from upcoming Darrion's skill suggested / planned originally from the Developers which is in my opinion are dangerous..

- In the name there is a story behind it -

I believe the Developers doesn't just put random name to each Job Role nor random Information in their description..
They've​ been thinking deeply about what is the best ability for every Job Role available..
I can presumed​ that they even considering every Hero has the inner value with their appearance, suit or hairstyle..
So, there's a reason why Holy Defender should have a Mass Taunt and why all Berserkers have side effect upon casting their ultra-destructive-ability..
It's irrelevant when you asked to remove Self Debuff from Freya..
Throwing​ in Vincent's Aura to her just to generalizing her usefulness is doesn't make any sense..
It is more like less thinking idea that just came from Vincent's Fan that only know how to utilize his Aura without bother to acknowledge Freya's any further..

If you replicate such ability (Skill or Aura) from such Hero to other Hero (in this case Valiant) except with slightly different setup then it's just make less diversity between each Hero..
If this keep going, only a matter of time before they make Champion can cast shield for their Party..

I personally agree with the suggestion to make Valiants (Only Valiants) have a second skill but within​ an exception -it must have minor effect if the CD is shorter but major effect (than the original Skill) if the CD take -very- longer..
But don't cut their original Skill CD, it will absolutely make Valiants very Imbalance..
Valiant is very different with Summoners where Summoners need to summon their Pet to make them keep in handy..
And actually, all the Valiants original Skill and Aura already good by itself..
They just need a second ability to make them very special and unique..

My friend has create very long-text suggestion..
But he is too​ lazy to translate it in English so he posted it in Indonesian section..
His main concern is about Valiant as the only Hero that have ability to cover all party with their specific Aura that can only be triggered in particular condition..

For example..
Darrion as the strongest Guardian..

In PvE or PvP situation, Darrion (and most Guardian) cannot fulfill his Job as "True Guardian" because AI is set to attack Hero with the lowest DEF in your Party..
Your backliners will being​ melted in a second because of this..

In PvE situation..
> Darrion have xx% to xx% chance based on his Star and Level to Taunt / Miss Direct enemies in xx turn..
> Darrion have xx% chance to absorb xx% damage from party..


This Special Aura is separated from the original Aura and it work like Persistent Aura..
It available for all Darrion Job Role, no matter what Role you chooses -it has the same ability..
If there is two Darrion (different Job) in the same field, it will blended and doesn't stack..
Players can only used 3 Valiant's Special Aura in the same field..
If there's 4 or more Valiant in the same field, Player can choose which Special Aura to be used before or after entering the battlefield..
In PvP, the percentage given will be greatly reduced..
Of course the Developers can play around with it by creating a different effect for this special Aura..
Or adjust the number..

This is some draft that I made weeks ago.
No skill changes, but increasing the current potential.

Darrion
Holy Defender : Increase DEF to all allies instead himself
Paladin : Increase DEF to all allies instead himself
Chaos Knight : Increase skill damage & +increase HP everyone in aura by 25% of his DEF
Blood Knight : Make his skill 3x3
Freya
Gladiator : Increase everyone ATK in aura by 20% of her ATK 
Dragoon : Reduce CD by 2-4 turns
Berserker : Make her aura similar to Vincent Berserker, but a bit stronger
Warlord : When she attacks, 40% chance to trigger all allies to attack with 80% of her ATK.
Shizu
Magebane : Increase aura chance by 5-10%, and stunned all chained enemies instead
Samurai : Increase aura chance by 10-20% 
Ninja : Increase refresh rate to 70%
Assassin : Increase refresh rate to 60%
Kiera
Mind Warder : Change aura: Normal attack can delay targetted enemy skill
Rune Magus : Change aura: Normal attack can knockback targetted enemy skill
Elementalist : Increase skill damage by 200%
Warlock : Reduce CD and make her teleport all enemies to break enemies aurachain.
Lucille
Inquisitor : Reduce CD by 1-2 turns

Sharpshooter : Reduce CD by 2-3 turns and increase his CRIT by 10% of his ATK.

Maybe some of you think this is ridiculous, but this is how Valiants should be, they are the strongest after all. And it's not easy to get them, you can't buy them from bundles / valianites.

Hopefully, admins can improve more of Kane's versions especially RH, GS and SS. Most people seem to see Kane only as a trigger item ;-;
The valiant that needs the most power up is definitely Kiera though. 
Any plans for a 6*? 
But please don't make it the same way as Leon and Theia where you cannot promote a limit broken hero
It is very hard to find correct faiths for valiants since they only come once a month or once every 6000 BT.
((How about making Kane GS's passive to be like GS Nadia's except that instead of 120% atk, it will be bigger? XD just some wishful thinking))

Either way, keep up the good work :D
