Patch Notes - 19th December 2016

Hi to all Valiants,

Valiant Force will be going down for a maintenance patch on 19th December 2016, Monday.

Scheduled server maintenance timing can be found here.

Important: Known iOS bug after patching

We are aware of the issue for some iOS users to encounter a bug in the battle using [Manual] mode. When this bug occurs, certain enemies will not be targetable and your heroes may be able to walk into them.

A soft remedy is to use auto mode when this occurs.

We will be sending a daily compensation for this inconvenience caused.

A patch to fix this issue is underway. Thank you and happy adventuring!

New Winter event

- Twin Frost Ascension - First-ever guild PVE event

New Heroes

- 3-5* Hero, Miu Hanasaki (Shadow)
- 5* Monster, Elseia of the Grove (Healer), with passive aura and rune slots, and new Chain Healing skill

Faith Pixies

- 6 new Faith pixies that can be used to replace a Hero's faith (non-Valiants only)
- Only available for a limited time

New costume shop

- Brand new costumes for all Valiants
- Only 1 costume needs to be purchased for the same Valiant

Valiant Improvements

- New active skill animations for all 5* Valiant heroes
- New Valiant class icon
- Prevent Valiants from being used as materials for faith reroll, aura reroll and training by default
- Warning message when trying to sell Valiants.

Promo Bundle timer
 
- Promo bundles will be given a countdown timer after closing the bundle pop-up (represented by chibi Emiko)

Combat

- New "Blind" skill effect
- New "Silent" passive skill (aura)
- New active skill type, Chain Healing
- New in-battle skill casting animations
- New in-battle boss entrance

Arena AI balancing

- AI : Leech skill will now target based on damage efficiency, with added priority to do killing blow in arena.
- AI : Units with swap will now cast it and target units that standing on the capture point. If the unit is standing already on the capture point, it will not swap out.
- AI : Units that have skills closer to cooldown will have lower priority to make an action. This give opportunity for the AI to use short CD skills during their first cycle-through in arena.
- AI : Taunts will have less priority now in arena. But the skill might still be casted if the skill has defense buff effects.
- AI : Charm got more bonus score to bump its priority up in Arena.
- AI : Single target heals will now also calculate heal efficiency.
- Buffs of similar type should stack correctly.

Other new Features

- New winter garrison skin
- Equipment and Runes gallery
- Added rarity text (Common, Rare, Super Rare, Ultra Rare, Legendary) and new effects to hero summons animations
- New expeditions information in building descriptions
- UI improvement to bazaar
- Languages selection menus added to Start screen
- View friend’s last login in the Friend’s List
- New daily login reward highlight
- Monsters in certain event modes are changed to snowmen skin

Bug fixes

- Fixed bug where enemy affected by Swap skill gets stuck facing original direction
- Fixed bug where unit faces the wrong direction in victory animation after using Swap skill in arena
- Fixed bug where Fire elementals in Capitol do not walk into player units after they spawn
- Fixed bug where Success and Mega Success showing the same text when enhancing equipment
- Fixed bug where view zooms out after changing training level in gallery
- Fixed bug in iOS where Game crashes when tapping and holding on arena heroes
- Fixed bug where goldmine chest shakes when viewed from guide
- Fixed bug where level lock for weapon enhance on enhancement gauge is missing
- Fixed bug where player’s heroes are stuck in mid air in gold mine
