The new event Ladder have already started and this is day 2. 

And I saw a very shocking truth by the ladder. I currently in rank 160+ but still in tier 9, which is quite a shock because based on my past ladder events, tier 9 is usually like rank 400. Top 200 is always in tier 8 and 400 abit is still in tier 8.

This could mean alot.

1) the player base dropped alot.
2) Or no one want to play the repeating events.

But then to say, this event have a very rewarding things, a pixie card, which i haven't see one before and i really hope to get it. What you guys think?

Well that's shocking. I actually didn't expect the active players to drop that much.

I think you got to give it more time, since its only day 2

Wow.. I can understand why, all the best rewards have limited quantities, once you got all of them, technically nothing much u can do, spamming to get 5* fodders is not as often as it is. heirloom equipment only up to 4*, so no point spamming once you get the heirloom set.

well its actually the same as the last event around tier 8/9 for the 1st few day 

do worry if its stay the same for the last day

Could be the combined effect of the two causes u mention. I think player base drop a little but not much.

I will provide infomation at upper end of rank 9 in this event. I finish in top 5% every event since Halloween. For this event, i'm now ranked 524 and still in top 5% (rank 9). In the past event, my avg rank was around 700-800 and my rank has improved each event. Considering my improved team factor (without Lucille), i think player base drop helps getting my rank to improve a bit more but not much. This is where i draw my assumption that player base has dropped but not much. I think u also have to give a credit to your team for scoring better on the ladder too, David
