Re: 5600 Gem Summonings! Has Valianite affected the rates?

Thu Feb 09, 2017 12:31 pm

Oh NO! You again? Mr JamesWond, sorry but you are really spreading info as if you could determinate the actual summon rates with some really small sample again? Oh well, you know what?you cant!

I don't believe I'm seeing it again and, do you know that we would need a community effort for something like at least 1000 different Summons for the data to be more of less reliable?

Next time you post these kind of results can you please say that you are posting biased results? Please! Thanks!
Dear Mr.Mysterious, I am merely just conducting a study.

As you can see from Ryozanki's post above, the numbers did not change despite the event changes. So if you say it requires 1000 different summons, then so be it. I will get there eventually. I am already at 280 recorded summons from my 2 videos already.

I did include the line "Again, please note that the statistics above might not be accurate due to the small sample size of 140 draws. I will continue my quest for the rates in the next event." Next time before you post a comment, please read the post and watch the video first, because I did reiterate that point of biasness in the video as well. Please! Thanks!
Next time? next time you put a better title and not a click bait one. You are trying to call out something here, that is not good. not without concrete information, only in the end of the text you do tell that MAYBE you results could not be reliable, you need to put this information FIRST!

And again, summons from a single players will still be biased, and that's why I've said we need a community effort. Summon results from different events could be different too, but as Mr. Ryozanki said the rates didn't changed, well we still had a lot of new heroes added to the summon pool.

Thanks!
Dear MisterMysterious, I do not see what is wrong with putting a clickbait title. You can choose not to click it. Thanks for clicking and viewing though(well some of it).

As for the format of my post, I also do not see what's wrong with putting the disclaimer in the middle of the post.

You are not my editor nor employer. I do not think I have to go through you for a format on my posts. Neither is there a strict guideline for this forum.

Again, if you did read through my comments, I did ask about the effects of an increase pool of heroes. Ryozanki replied there was no effect on the rates. Please read. Please! Thanks!

Lastly, with regards to biasness, every experiment has its own set of biasness. The way to minimise it is to get as large a sample size as possible and take an average and that is all I am intending to do here.

Thanks!

Dear Mr. JamesWong, you may do what you want, who's stopping you? Me?

But please make note that spreading biased or false information by the likeness of some click bait can do more wrong than good. You even called devs to suggest things based on your small data, that was funny!

Thanks again!

Chill now everyone, there is no right nor wrong here, so everything is fine. Other folks will definitely get different drops, it is hard to have similar ones :)

Have a healthy discussion!

Yes I will do what I want and your feedback is duly noted. It's really funny how you are getting so worked up over someone's thread that is merely just sharing my openings, thoughts and opinions. At no point did I say my stats were facts and like I mentioned, I have put down twice(once in the post and once more in the video) that my results might be biased. Its also really FUNNY how you are nitpicking on the format of my posts just because you do not want to read the entire post. Please read! Please! Thanks!

I do not see what harm my post can cause. Perhaps you can suggest.

I do not think the developer suggesting anything. More so, he was STATING something.

Again, my current data numbers at 280 summons. 720 summons(72 days later), I will be hitting your recommended number of 1000 summons.

Stay tuned! Thanks for viewing both my posts. What a loyal supporter I have in you!  8-)

Hi Ryozanki, I agree. I am just having a discussion with MisterMysterious. I am not sure why he is getting so worked up. I shall remain calm and just rebut him with whatever he throws at me

I like devoted people, so I like you too Mr JamesWong! VF surely needs some devoted users! Just don't keep repeating that I misunderstood you because I read the whole post. I also really like Mr. Ryozanki but he once said Ronan skill was working as intend, and it was not  :D but let's forget this!

One thing that can change from time is the chance for the event hero, as they can use a fixed % always (like 1 or 2%) or make it dependent on the number of 5* potential heroes on the pool. It's good to keep track of things, and your work can be used for good, I mean no harm it's just my personal feedback about your post.

I said before and said again, that 1k summons for different users would be minimal (focus on MINIMAL), for more or less reliable results, but from a single player can't be reliable. but keep doing your work, and keep listening to good and bad feedback, we need our findings, that's how devs do too.

Well, I kept repeating it because you kept nitpicking and dissing on my post(the content, replies and even the format!)

Thanks for the kind words. Finally! A post that doesn't exude negative emotions!

I will continue building my sample size and reporting on my findings. Ryozanki mentioned that the numbers remained the same throughout. My guess is the percentage chance for drawing a New Event Hero did not change but that again is my speculation and will need more testing to prove.

I do not understand why must it be from different users unless you are saying that some accounts are rigged?

2 people flipping a non-bias coin a billion times will end up with 50/50 in the end. It's not the person that matters but the sample size.
