If you think about it, breaking the 4-star sets into 2 will help players get the 2-set bonus quicker, thus becoming stronger, without having to collect a full 4 set.

Of course, you are just thinking about yourself.

White knight I am not, but the game is still in freaking beta, I would thrash the hell out of the devs if they do this after launch. 

The beta here is basically a soft launch.

Why are you not mad then?
Anyway if it was a soft launch it was a more big problem, change items that people buyed is illegal on most of the countries in the world.

I have played in soft launch where bigger changes were made. WAY BIGGER.

Those items, like a mod said, are bonuses, not what you buy. Dev could easily pull away the whole prestige system and no one gets anything. Are you going to be more satisfied with that?

I would be a lot more.
Just i feel that people could be tricked if the use money to reach a X prestige sistem for have a X set for see it, the next day, completly changed and being usless from what it was before.
This is called Fraud in my country, and it's illegal, even if you don't buy it directly you buy it indirectly.

It's like you go in a shop, and take points from what you buy on your everyday.
When you reach 100 points you can take a prize.
But you notice that when you reach 100 points they changed the prize, not because someone took it, or the promotion finish, but just because the shop manager change his mind.
It's illegal.

I never said that i feel in this way, i say that the player may feel in this way.
I said many times already that my criticism is here for help on make this game better, not worse.

I'm pointing out a criticism, to give my feedback

Well what made me cringe is that they broke my current best set (+15 Bunny) and I am still currently nowhere near getting to 20+ legendary maps. I mean I wouldn't have invested in it if I had any idea that this might happen. I could have spent all those gold to level up my other characters instead.

But well, yes this is closed beta. However, this is the first CBT for a Mobile game that I ever played so I'm not entirely used to surprise patches like this. Well at least they gave me 2 more weeks to level 30+ more characters to max and do those heroic event quests for free gems and stuff.

I agree that this game is still in Beta and please expect for some changes and the dev must want to know our feedback about this .. (thou this is something)

Just to say, not only you Jenos that feel flipping table becauze of this set item, i have to go through hell (heroic or legendary) to get another item and I'm actually tired of using express ticket..

I'm mad too somehow but what happen know is, I assumed that, they make this change for new player that just join us to try Valiant Force so they won't feel left behind from us who already high level than them.. so can we just give our positive thoughts about this...

Look at the bright side, we can give those equips to other heroes who can use them or wait for new heroes to give to. This update certainly screwed some of my best ranger's equipment, even some 4* like captain's hat is not farm-able anymore. 

But in the future, this can benefit a lot of people (especially newcomers) in the long run as many have mentioned. I'm sure new variants of equipment of all rarity will be in the works, sooner or later the equips now will just be one of hundreds and easily forgotten. The good stuff has yet to come, take it slow and easy.

And since many of us actually stuck in Legendary Map2, this is a good change to allow F2P players to obtain the set items easier without going through Map3 and Map4

Don't make misunderstandings with your reply.
The Warrior cape called "Blue cloak of wizardry" of the prestije (level 6) set don't match anymore with any set that you previusly took from the prestije bonus sets.

If i have to learn to play, you should learn to read or buy new glasses.

I think what he meant by that is the *5 equipment set and above, the truth is I'm on prestige level 2, but I already have 2 of that "BLue Cloak of Wizardy" (lloks like I get them from summon eq) , you also can get that equipment on legendary level , nothing "VIP" about that equipment , everyone can get that eq XD especially those who can achieve prestige lvl 6 , but not the *5-*6 set, which does really need high VIP level

I also see your other rant in  how to defeat legendary Aaria, and many people (including me) who thought it was impossible, finally able to beat it, why I call it "rant" ? Because many people saw it as a challenge, but you want it to go your way, don't let your individual problem seems like a problem to all the players, just enjoy!
