No, tested. the base state will be enhanced, but all the bonus u received in the begining to +15 will be reset.

I'm no expert but.. I think you might be misunderstanding something.
I think the set bonus stays? but I haven't enhanced before so i'll depend on someone else to answer.

It doesnt reset set bonus

I have low lvl set 2* 2* 3* and set bonus is active

actually enchated the 3* from 2* to test it for myself few hours ago:)

#1 Set bonus stays the same
#2 Upgrade bonuses (+15) returns to +0
#3 Suffix (of Defense, of Might, of Zodiac, etc.) and main stat(not the amount of stat, just the main stat) remains the same
#4 The starting equipment bonuses will be random

Sorry to bring up old post. So does that mean the only good thing from enhancing is a slightly higher base/main stat?
Although junk equipment have nowhere else to go beside as enhance fodders, I'm still wondering if I should waste all those resources on enhancing. Salvaged too many already.

Yes, enhancing is only for better base stats. However, you can view it as sort of a reroll for your equipment as well.

Example, i got a 4star bow of might which is a good suffix, but i got really unlucky and did not get atk and crit% even after plus 15. Enhancing gives me another chance
