to be honest this healer is piss poor. only get him if somehow you still have no 5* capable healer after playing for weeks.

Bazaar exchange is quite expensive this time considering we only have around 10 days to do it.  :|

Since the legendary mode is difficult, a player who isn't strong enough will have to do heroic/normal for the unrefined gems. In this case, a player will gain 1 unrefined gem per energy ( heroic drops average of 7 gems and normal drops average of 5 gems ).

Now the problem is, there are many things we can exchange... by giving up other choices. Here I have done some simple maths.
By the end of the event, one will amass a number of unrefined gems, approximately:
  • 1200 from daily run, assuming you have a efficiency of using 20 hours worth of energy per day, 1440 gems if you are lifeless AF
  • 210 from the event quest rewards
  • 55 from the 11 extra hours on 1st December ( 5am~4pm GMT+8 )
  • 125 by spending energy reward from the Curiosity quest rewards
Which brings us a total of 1590. Remember that this figure did not include the bonus energy from other quest completing or lunch/dinner time energy. Maybe you had a few naps or phone battery died or something, and let the energy stay full for a while. So it's the same when those bonus energy is used to fills those holes up.

So, give or take, you have 1600 unrefined gem to decide what to exchange by the end of the Curiosity event. Your choice, m8?

P.S: If you are able to do legendary mode without failing, maybe you will get 2500 unrefined gems by the end. But then again, what's your choice m8?

Edit: Considering you have really bad luck in gaining unrefined gems, it's still save to assume that you have 1500 unrefined gem by the end of the event, if you invest your time on it.
Oooh thanks for this!

In light of this information, you'd have to ponder as to what the Devs' plans are?

Waste people's time? Give the illusion of choice?

Are they flexing by trying to show off how many freebies they're willing to give away, but in reality you're actually just extremely restricted with your choice?

Or maybe it's just a plain "here's TONS of things that you COULD get, but you won't so, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯" *cracks whip*

Would go for vanity tickets or hammers probably, my progress is so slow due to my squad still not fully leveled (and turned out I can't just go with 1 strategy for different paths?? no good lol)
At this point I'm not even sure if I can get enough gems to trade with real gems haha

Originally wanted to get Kahuna because I saw him making enemies punch each other in sacrifice path, but when I checked gallery turned out he's just your average healer who only heals, so.. nah

This is just 1 part from the event, you have yet to count the loot drop from the chest. I see lots of 3* items which you can salvage and craft some 4* for yourself. 1500 is roughly worth 300 gems?
Imo, this is better than the previous event where you just grind and grind. Its really boring, only upside of that is you can get lots of fodder and some 5* to change faith/aura.
Or you can just ignore this event totally and focus on the PVE.

I personally feel that prioritize gem seems to be a smarter move.

Gold
In shop tab, the lowest rate is 5 gold : 1 gem. The rate is the same as the bazaar one, but it should be better if you go for gem first as you can buy gold with it later, much better if it is your first time purchase.

3-5* hero ticket
In the bazaar, the rate is 40 gem : 1 ticket. So then again gem is better as you need 45 gem per premium summon. Although it cost 40 gem per hero if you do the 10x summon but you can exchange gem and do it later.

3-4 equipment tickets
It is unique in some way since you cannot aquire it from anywhere else at will. But it only gives you 3-4* equipment so I don't really think it worth the so-hard-to-get unrefined gem.

Job quest key, arena orb
I prefer to wait the timer instead. So it's a no for me.

Gold smithing hammer
It is up to personal preference, if you are not blessed by rngesus then you should get one. For me I won't get any of these unless I have extra unrefined gem at the end.

1 single gem
This one is tricky, it cost 20% more than the 100-gem set, but it's a gem, so again I won't exchange this unless I have extra unrefined gem.

Kahuna? It's a decision to be made later on, although it's nice to have an addition 5* healer but 1000 unrefined can do a lot of thing.
This is really great analysis, but at the same time really difficult to read because you use the exact same word (gem) to talk about both unrefined gems from the event and the regular in-game premium currency gems. Could you be clearer on that aspect?
When I say gem, it is the real currency gem, otherwise it's unrefined gem.
I do mentioned "unrefined" every time I wanna mention unrefined gem right?

If you compare this event to the last, this event is more harsh to both p2p and f2p player. For a normal player that don't grind, they would probably get maybe 1000 unrefined gem at the end. In this case they will be able to get a 5*star healer, 4-piece thief set, 600k gold, some random tickets and potions, which is not bad in some way since the last events gives you the similar rewards except with a lot of foods and a chance to get 5*, a may-rngesus-bless-you-if-you-want-a-5* event.
The title of this thread says it all, there is scarcity in this event. Unless you decided to go kamikaze, spam buying energy with your gems and grind till the end of the world, then show off in this forum that you have exchanged all the available rewards from the bazaar.

Soo... would vanity tickets and 3-5* tickets be more worth it than kahuna? RNG hates me to a point that i didn't get a single 4* able healer

Kahuna should never serve as your main healer, the sage path are more around for their utlity rather than their heals. But if you're a collector and cannot reach 100% completion for the event, then get 1 Kahuna from the Bazaar as keepsake.
