Re: Valiant Force 6 months on....

There hasn't been much changed actually. From official launch until now, the things we got are:
- New heroes (OP and more OP, VF is heading to a bad direction here, coupled with bad pull rate, more and more players find themselves not able to catch up the train.)
- New Equipment (Either need money to have some decent equipment, or too time consuming or gold comsuming to utilise)
- Besides some decent one like tower (probably one only), so-so event (mega boss event), all other events are pure grind. I get the idea that dev team is a small team but repeating a same old event is not entertaining, ok TW server players have never tried the event but what about the older server?
- Guild raid ( To be honest this makes the game worse to play, people quitting guild for better raid, play raid and achieve some kind of milestone or get kicked, and there are so little places we can get potions from)
- Conquest ( just kidding, by the time release the playerbase would probably not the same anymore)
- Cancers and more cancers, especially in arena. Either to get slaughter in turn 1, or get ready for 3+ enemy moves in a row.

Anyone can think what other features we can add here?

Sad to know that you are moving on away from Valiant Force. :(

May I know which game title were you referring to? :)
This would definitely serve as a great example and point of reference for the Valiant Force Game Developer to learn from.
Sent you a PM :)

The game was developed in Korea by a very little known team/company and did poorly on its opening due to it being relatively unheard of but is now 1 of the top 100 revenue generating games thanks to its increasing popularity from word-of-mouth(yes, not through ads but from people sharing it around). An underdog in the massive game app industry in korea but is doing absurdly well given its small size. Game balancing comes often, where the free starter/uder-used heroes do get buffed/revamped and even OP heroes get nerfed. No powercreeping so far, unlike the absurdly powerful summoners introduced in VF. Comments and feedbacks are taken seriously, especially from the chinese and korean community whom are known to scrutinize the delicate PVP balance. Patches come at midnight so as to not disrupt the playtime of its players. In short, the developers PAY ATTENTION.

TBH maybe it's because the environment. At Korea there's so many game companies that experienced in making these kind of games.
They have to do 200% in order to survive. As there's so many competitors over there.

Japan too, they are also experienced on running mobile games. Look at 7K JP, Grand Blue Fantasy & Fate Grand Order. It's lively and the gacha rates are good too.

Meanwhile, most SEA developer, is still inexperienced. Like Gumi on BF (never play this, but i seen so many ppl complaining about it every day), Netmarble with their 7K (Send them lots of feedback, never got replied), AsiaSoft (Not a mobile game dev, but seriously this one is a joke) and not to mention lots of other closed game like Million Arthur 2 and Chain Chronicles.
It's funny how some of the popular games on Korea and Japan fail at SEA market. Maybe SEA developer need to learn from the devs overseas on managing their games. I still got a big hope for VF :(

Correct me if i'm wrong though

Not sure how much changes occurs since official launch of this game. I started this game during the Snowman event.

- New heroes:
I think only Ronan and Tallissa is affecting the arena. New hero like Nadia is quite balanced IMO. Not sure about Sven since he is still new. The pull rates are bad. I spent 2800 gems last event and what i get is 2x 5* potential out of 70 heroes. Players might need to spent $ to get a "proper" squad for PvP or even PvE.

- New equipment:
Not hard to get your hands on 4*-5* equipment. But upgrading them may be too gold consuming. The only problem is the new raid gear. Dont think about getting your hands on the guild raid gear. Just dont. You either jump to a large guild with active player or you just stay with your friendly guild mates and "enjoy" the game. I was really excited when i heard about the guild raids but I am giving up now. I am in a small guild and I just try my best to deal more damage. Some of my guild mates dont even wanna attempt since it is too difficult.

- Events
I dont think there is a problem regarding this. Arent all the games are like this? Grind to get better rewards. I am fine with the copy pasted events as long as they are releasing new content to entertain us.

- Conquest
 ????????????????? 404 Error! Not found.

Not sure what the devs are thinking now but is definitely not a good one for us. The secret changes with small patch is damaging my trust towards the devs. Not sure if anyone found this issue. There is one daily quest required you to kill 35 enemies. It can be completed through event quest last time. But now this quest only count when u kill enemies in story mode / job quest. Then the sudden nerf on some heroes or minor changes without notice everytime. What can I say? Maybe I am expecting too much on the devs.

Lol wait til you face Sven bsk in arena. That dragon is op af.

Inb4, next summoner: 1 turn CD, heal party with 100% MAG and summon pet, pet skill 2 turn CD give invulnerabilty 2 turns.

This game is Summoner Force really.

What happened to the Hanzo guy what defended the devs since the launch of this game? Quitted 2 months ago, looks like this game is shit after all.

funny thing is that the developers give a free summoner hero every event and yet so many still want freebies
