Iunno man I think the honeymoon period when playing a new game is over. But the sharp drop in rates for useful units is crazy, I'd always get something useful with 20 pulls or something but 80 pulls for 1 5*-able hero? Come on man. Not sure if lucky before or new players have a higher rate of drawing useful stuff. I've already had my suspicions with their rng system cos the chances for dupes is stupidly high, inb4 rigged but what can you do? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯i guess cause this game is quite new, so the rates are low. If game is old like 7k or granblue, im sure its easier to get 5* hero.Dude that's $150 worth of draws (if you buy the 2000 gem pack with bonus 2000 gems for first purchase, so $300 if no bonus) and still no event hero. That aside if I had just stopped at 80 summons I would have gotten a whole lot of nothing.Freya alone will make everything worth it.
You got to look at the average, 10X10 summon you got:
1X vincent
1X Cybella
1X 5* HD Victoria
2X victoria
1X ares freya

I suppose I should be pretty glad I got Freya, after I did 70-80 summons with the free gems I painstakingly accumulated over a month or so. I got so salty after 60 pulls I raged and dropped $150. Worth it or not this experience left a really, really sour taste in my mouth.
I think eventually the dev will have something like pull 10 X10 summon = 1 hero selector or something similar to this.
Previous faye event, i pull 4X, no faye, but a 3X 5* potential hero, cant remember whats their class anymore.
this event, i pull 4X, no miu, but 2X 3* cybella, 1X 4* cybella ares faith but wrong tree.
Ill just use it the other 2 to LB my gun slinger.

In logical sense, its because we want something useful for that period of time, miu for now, winzy for halloween, thats why the pull seems bad.
Yet actually, there could already be tons of heros in your inventory for you to build.
For me now, I going to run the event and take the gem chest, yes, the output ratio is burning low is compare to the ticket, but my rng now is very bad, (you see my last pull u know, 9 3* and 1 4* monster) so no matter how bad the gem chest will give me, i still get gem. Because I have enough of the ticket giving me 1 star and 2 star and i can use gold to get.

I did it reddit. 110 summons for 1 Miu and 1 Cybella athena.

I was pulling for fodder and RNG gave me Elesia.
No fairies yet though.
