prestige 2 here and been playing for around 2 month,
and still can get the champion rank milestone, 
and every week still can enter the top 70 rank. 
just can't get to the top 50 rank without buying orb.
since my winrate still at around 90%, 

the important thing is to focus your build on the units that you have, 
there are many squad buildup in this game, 
you can see the top arena player, 
there is no single meta in arena,
because this game arena systems didn't rely on auto battle, 
but we can play it manually,
so the squad buildup have to match our playstyle. 

keep battling and keep learning about the strategy for the arena especially the enemy AI movement 
and also keep upgrading your equipment and rune,
that is very important for your character growth, 

True, there really is no meta on this game pvp. The diversity of the game heroes with their skill & aura allows ppl to experiments with every squad combination.

I've also played this game for 2 months started November 4th, 0 lvl prestige, havent invest a single penny on this game, yet I can still climb up to Champion milestone last season.

Its understanable how difficult and frustating it is at first month / few weeks of trying to climb up, It happened to me also thats why i have tons of losses at arena. Just try to be patience until you get a perfect squad for arena everything takes time to progress.

i think arena is good. i am pure f2p, i dont remember when i started playing. maybe 7th day after release. start using sizhu zeus. all gems to summon 10x, many of them are fodder. when i am level 60th, only have sizhu, vincent, zed, leon (without lb & +12 equip), aaron  on my squad. its challenging, coz aaron & leon are *4 heroes. my winrate was bad when used this squad. i managed expert 3 using it.  now i replace aaron, leon, zedd with faye, lucille, victoria. i still try hit champion but its pretty hard. the problem is limited arena orb. last week i got master 2. now, my winrate is 77% and still increasing coz daily win-rate is above 80%.

if you dont have optimize *5 heroes, i think many of 4 heroes are very good even to reach master 3. leon, luna marksman (amazing aura * & crit %), vann rouge (damn good aura * & crit %). they are equal +2 *5 heroes when LB 5x, maybe better

New squad: No LB yet, equip from story drop & smith, bad rune.





if you are not enjoy PvP yet, just try PvE. i also use same team composition to clear 24-3 legendary but difference position . this my previous team set up for PvP & PvE




when you clear legendary trial 4, its easy to get good equipment to support your arena squad & you will get *5 hero ticket
