Well, I have been to other games, and the thing is, other games gem rewards are not as good as VF, which usually net you 3 or 4 10x pull if you wait during the interval in event.
And those games, even with 1 or 2 pull, i also won't get their feature heroes, which sucks but they does guarantee a 5* hero (may not be the feature one). so i think VF want to be different from these games and came up with a form of currency. But these currency doesn't net you a 5* instantly, but instead, you need to pull at least 3 times to get a 5*, which in the end, it very similiar to how others work, just different route.
The thing about this game is the possibility of an unusual event and its not as easy as, I just storm the event using my best troops. But the thing is, the hype of the event die off within 1 week of the event when all of us manage to clear everything because of support and guide here. Then the next 1 week is like stoning period where we just farm.
As for young players, because of the things going on in this forum, they want to excel in various field instantly. In my early stage of VF playing, I have to give up the legendary and constantly farming and leveling my 3* and 4*. (Even though 3* are the limit) Because they can help me in expeditions and completing the quest goals when they are max out. So not pulling any event hero or only 3 stars shouldn't be a "rage" issue as games suppose to have some good and bad.
It does pain me to see my saving of gems to pull all 3*, but these 3* are very useful to push your 5*. OR else, where you think you can get 3* so fast?
I agree with what you say. I feel XII Braves is generous with it's gems as compared to other games out there.
Also, they do listen to their community, thus the introduction of Valianites.
If people want to excel in the game instantly, they should just pay. Get a job, earn some moola, spend it and be happy about it. That is why I do not mind paying to play this game. Plus add on the fact that they are a Singaporean company so I'll treat it as boosting my country's economy.
I think many people expect instant gratification but with that comes a lull period too.

The event too hard to farm for certain stuff. XII Braves increases the rate. One moment later...Event too boring, still have 7 days to go. I mean make up your mind. What do you want?
Every online mobile game out there is somehow or rather a P2W game. The developers need to eat too. Sure, the rates within the game definitely can be improved. I mean, less than 3% is too little for the NEW event hero, XII Braves. But overall, I am happy with the game currently
