I am getting the swing of the gacha in VF now... it is not about getting 5 stars, it is more of getting heroes who can go to 4 or 5 stars.

Getting a straight 5 stars is just a jackpot moment, and especially a Valiant one .____.

you want 5* for what, what if you get something you don't like in your party, at least getting upgrade-able 5* means you can choose what you want lol. I guess the upgrade fees and grind does mean it takes longer, but I want quality over quantity lol

what he mean is getting 3* evolve-able units gives you a choice on which class you wanna train rather than a raw 5* unit that you have no choice but to use.. e.g. the system gave you a ninja shadow class but you want a magebane or samurai because their skill is much better. and btw he did not mention anything about faith.

Add on to what tackey said..u wont know the possibility of a 3* & a 4* if u just want a 5* straight. Even a 4* can he better than a 5*. Faith is just a bonus, one of the game mechanic to test your stratergy in pvp or pve.

I said nothing about faith o_O. 
You also said nothing about beginner... You can make a point about having a 5* to give you an easier time, but you didn't mention that.
I wanted a 3* that I can choose the path of because I mentioned I prefer quality > quantity. I need to think in terms of long-term investment because I'm a f2player and I have limited resources at this stage. I don't think it's unreasonable to want a 5*, I just think I don't want to abandon it after I'm going to put so much work into getting it and have no value out of it. The game is literally trying to give you a choice to make up for a less desirable faith. I simply wished to utilise it. 

Clearing the early game is never going to be the hard part for me. It's the end game stuff that matters, and that's almost identical in majority of the games. Which is why I want a solid start and I want to make my own choices amongst all the illusion of choices that I have. 

BTW, did you know 4* +2 100% is better than 5* +0 0%? And at early stage you probably won't get good gear either, unless you gem summon.. Which is icky because there's A LOT MORE rng compared to heroes summon. Also, a newbie how do you find enough fodders and gold to fuse for a better trained 5*? More gems and gems and gems. You're going to spend 1k gems and you still haven't gotten a good start you want. *shrug* Your choice of wanting to agonise over it.
