Aura Direction after Promotion

It's basic knowledge that a hero's aura increases by 1 direction with every promotion, but can anyone confirm if a promotion adds 1 direction to the directions you already possess(left, right + back), or are they randomized after promotion(left, right -> front, right, back)?

The promotion adds 1 direction to your existing aura, it doesnt get randomized again.

Hey, i took a screenshot sometime ago but i haven't really got bothered to upload it.
You can tap on your aura during promotion to look at possible aura location that would be added to your hero.
So it might be better to reroll before you promote!
