My friend gathered a large Energy from 2 Tower

he plan to use it for Ladder, and should get more 400+ but it's maxed at 300?

and more 100+ is missing in the wind

anyone can confirm this?

...and there is some way for my friend to claim his Energy back?

I doubt so.

There is a cap for everything. Even for level energy, there is also a cap for the spawning, meaning if you hit max, it will not spawn energy anymore. So your friend shouldnt whack all the energy and "claim" everything at 1 go.

No one will expect to stock up to 300. The reason is,we know that the timer counter stops when it hit the level cap energy, so in order for the energy to keep spawning, we won't let it hit level cap.
But thats up to individual, and i think u learnt it the hard way.

It wasn't the energy counter.  It was from collection of quest rewards (which I have completed all event quests but did not collect until this morning).  Still trying to use them up though.  300 energy will take a long time to complete even with x2 auto on tower.  Should have just collect one quest at a time.

you should. Well all of us learnt through the hard way. And to be honest, putting a hard code to indicate a reminder to players where the possible of many people hitting that cap is not necessary. Unless it reaches a point where the energy generation (Auto collection part, like wishing well and auto generation) reach cap faster than what a normal player will do, then yes, i believe the community will raise up the issue to either raise the ceiling or control.

but it will mean thats its poor coding in the initial stage to allow spillage to be so often. As for your case, How you reach that point, i also curious.. Cause I "dont" have enough energy to spam all day also. (I auto pilot my heroes in quests all the time)

It's possible to go over the cap if they preserve energy from both PoU, PoE and event completion reward until yesterday in preparation for today's ladder event.
If they do that and click redeem all there is a high chance it goes over 300. I also have over 300 energy in my mailbox, but I redeem them one by one.

Maybe can try sending in-game ticket for the loss energy and see how it goes.

Same here. Stocked up energy on my mail and boom, capped at 300 :')
