CNY Patch Notes Yay and Nay! *VALIANITE SYSTEM IS WHAT WE REALLY NEEDED THX DEV*

Hey guys,

So i've been going through with my guildies and felt it was fun sharing some of our thoughts and sentiments on the upcoming update.
Here's mine, do share yours too! :)

1. New Event
This is the first boss battle in Valiant Force where players must defeat multiple parts of the final boss. More information coming in the event guide soon!
 Sounds interesting! Finally something not ZOMBIES or frigging SNOWMEN

2. New Lunar New Year costumes
Vincent and Cybella gets some love with new costume for Lunar New Year!
Have you guys seen the skins?! some love?! I'll make love!! - PS: Guessed expected cost 300 discounted season and original price 450 since they're non-valiant

3. New heroe: Nadia
A new Ranger class hero has arrived in the hero summoning pool! (permanent hero)
She looks... damn underwhelming giving the face "why i am born" with a peace sign...
 
4. New Heirloom set
This new set is aimed for Ranger class heroes.
Touch your heart even if the rate is increased by 10000%, the actual gem summon drop rate would probably look like 0.01%. So meh better be a ticket draw.
 
5. New game currency: Valianite
This new currency can only be obtained from 10x hero summon or 10x equipment summon. Please note that this applies to gem summoning only.
 
For gem hero summon,
- if a player gets at least 1x 5* potential hero (hero can be 3*, 4*, or 5*) from 10x hero summon, he or she gets 2 Valianite.
- if a player gets no hero with 5* potential from 10x hero summon, he or she gets 3 Valianite.
 
For gem equipment summon, player gets 1 Valianite for each 10x equipment summon
 
Valianite can be used to trade for different items in the new Valianite shop. This new currency can also be used to reforge equipment.
GUYS THIS IS SO EXCITING!! I GET REWARDED FOR SAVING MY HARD EARN GEMS AND I CAN USE THE NEW CURRENCY IN A TRADE SHOP!!!! Until when you take a look a simple 3* summon ticket cost 1000 valianite.


6. New Valianite shop
 Players can use Valianite (new game currency) to trade for different items here.
 I cry this is a projected economic outlook in Trump's reign if the MINIMUM SPENDING IS 250 VALIANITE

7. New monster card type
A new type of monster card which gives your heroes a flat amount of training percentage when used to train, no matter the star-rating of the monster card.
Another one looks damn good on paper! Then, like a certain creature, the drop rate would probably be 1 in 100000 from event ticket summons. I can almost feel the dev reading this and smirking.

8. New daily events key system
Daily events such as Gold Mines, Tower of Despair, and Capitol's Last Stand will switch to a new key-based system for entry. The keys will refresh daily, similar to job keys. Any overflow amount (more than the maximum) will not be brought over to the next day.
So, if i have 10 keys per day, i can whack all 10 keys at the gold event?! LIKE LEGIT? LIKE FINALLY DEV EYES OPENED AND FOUND HOW POOR EVERYONE IS AND THAT EVEN PROBABLY GODBEER WOULD FORGO FARMING AND EASIER TO BUY GEM - GOLD? Almost too good to be true. Definitely a catch.
 
9. New Battle Potions
Players are encouraged to use the new Battle Potions to cast varies spells against enemies.
I am not encouraged at all with your potion nonsense

10. New content preview
Items such as chests and tickets can now be previewed by players to see what items can be obtained from them. This applies to chests and tickets in shops and event bazaar.
I THOUGHT IT WAS A LEGIT BUG THAT I COULDNT SEE WHATS INSIDE. YOU GUYS......

11. New function to retain Faith and Aura
Players can now choose to retain their former Faith or Aura directions after doing a re-roll.
Dev leader: Ok guys people are not happy with the rerolling faith and aura system
Dev 1: We already give them the option to choose with fairies! They just need to invest alot more!
Dev 2: But what about the F2P, they're complaining not getting attention!
Dev 3: Ok we gotta think about the F2P and our P2W population
Dev 2: How about... We can let people reroll their faiths/aura and let them choose if their former faiths/arua turn out better!
Dev 3: And if their rerolls are the same, it is still RNG's fault damn that RNG.
Dev leader: Great, lets do it and put a 1m price tag while you're at it.

12. New equipment Reset and Reforge functions
Equipment Reset – Reset a +15 weapon back to +0 (all bonus stats will be removed back to +0 status)
Equipment Reforge – Reroll the weapon’s suffix
Looks like end game stuff and i actually like it

13. Improved UI
- New summon landing screen
- New button to resummon 10x
Its painful to summon 10x, thanks for making the pain go faster.

14. Friends slots
The number of friends slots is increased from 50 to 60..
Come on you can do betterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

15. Daily arena quest
Number of matches required reduced from 7 to 5.
Fair enough for those who have little time to play

16. Auto-lock heroes
All heroes with 5* potential (hero can be 3*, 4*, or 5*) will be automatically locked when obtained.
Pretty useful for new players to help them not accidentally fuse/sell them away

17. Event heroes return
All heroes from previous events are added into the gem heroes summoning pool permanently (except Miu)
OH COME ON IF FRIGGING WINRY HAUNTS ME AGAIN IMA SUE

Bug Fixes
 
- Fixed Ronan's Arcane Missiles targeting dead enemies ladies and gentlemen, the official confirmed meta for arena. I remember a specific moderator confidently went "RONAN SKILL WORKING AS INTENDED". Blatant lies how can i trust now :(
- Fixed Ronan's passive Aura can be stacked from the same ally
- Fixed Faye (Holy Defender) does not activate her skill in Auto oh god finally
- Fixed Theresa (Spirit Walker) skill does not give initial 500 heal if not skipping precast
- Fixed Kane skill animation bug (Grand Ranger and Gunslinger)
- Fixed missing gem tavern SFX I find that the gem tavern is still bugged and only gives 5 gem at cap. >=(
- Fixed banner missing icon and animation during gift
- Fixed several button localization issue
- Fixed several wrong icons
- Fixed heroes’ stats not displaying properly when opened during the first time

Not fun to open 500 rune tickets...................

My biggest concern is where is the balance patch?

Last time we get "actual" balance patch is during Halloween event.

I have mixed feeling about heirlooms

It makes premium summon equip 5* obsolete

This new currency came a bit too late lol but it's nice they finally implemented here,now we just need to see the costs.

I'm not sure how are they planning to balance archers out , cause they just released a new archer and make a new heirloom for archers which would be absolutely insane for whales bcause they can just make it to *6 +15 without even trying then the whole arena top tiers will be full of 5 archers which has NO COUNTERS AT ALL at the moment.
Expect the next season on top tier arena teams are 5 trigger archer teams
So for now arena will be broken because archers, and next one to discuss is those new currencies


The key system is nice so players can push for the one thing they need the most 

What makes me sad is they don'teven balance regularly like every patch but they only do it on random ocassions.
Please note even after the buff last patch,it didn't change anything and at this point you can only expect them to give buffs every 2 event or each month 1 balance changes
I hope they can balance regularly and not just focus on contents,but on the other things too.
The update is pushing archer into the top, making mystics even more trash and gives melee heroes sadness as on turn 1 if they trigger,you'd most likely have a hero or two (or all 5 if you're unlucky) down since they can trigger repeteadly with no limits.

This makes other classes fall below since the other ranged heroes ae mystics (MAG user) and healers (MAG user) and the other are melees which cannot kill archers without moving

Before adding: When are the event heroes coming back?! Why are they not added permanently?! I need them!!!

After adding: Oh shit, it dilutes the 5* summon chance, get those event heroes away from the pool!

Lol.. omg.. sorry but so truth.
P.S I got 12 lulu now with no anthena faith. GoING to try to roll faith.

Anyway, I was guessing whether it is a ranger event an it is!!! And new set item for my Rangers..(because don't have equipment at all for them) like finally!!!
