To clarrify about add on functions in emulators

Tue Feb 07, 2017 8:33 am

I understand that emulators such as Nox and Memu are allowed to play Valiant Force. Most of these emulators have built in function to record click and movements (aka macro or operation record). Can we use these functions? (e.g. to auto click repeat button to restart event quests that can be quite repetitive sometimes).

Don't think it's ok. Remember in key stroke or actions generally mean botting. But then again, I once used controller pad to play other games where you bind keys together. Its not consider.
So I guess only the dev can answer u.

I think even if the admins say "no", there will still be folks trying it out.

There are ways for the system to detect weird happenings, the details I am not sure.

But always better to be safe than sorry :)

Well, there isn't really any advantages to be gained from automation (botting) in VF at least. You don't get more rewards or anything like that.

Not quite right.
A good example is the orbs that is limited to 5 and 1 per hour, unless you dont sleep, technically you will "lose" some orbs due to the need to sleep or busy. But well, technically there is nothing much more you can achieve using botting.

I always like this game for not allowing automation, script or bot. I hate to admit that there is a growing number of ppl who believe that its justified to use the automation, script or bot because they dont have time to play. I prefer that VF doesnt allow these stuffs as these cheating support programs destroy fair play on any ladder or arena (like David said the automation never stops and never sleeps).

Any added functions like automation is not allowed, hence illegal.

We do have systems monitoring numbers and player progress, and will flag out players who are displaying irregular numbers.

So yes, it is illegal to use automated functions, and a permanent ban will be served on a hot plate.

Thanks!
