Hi! In this video, I will showcase how I cleared Darkness Descends Master Trial 1 with no event heroes. A list of improvements, hero substitutions, items to be bring as well as other tips can also be found in the video.

Some tips and random information~
Items I brought:
Major ATK up Root
Major Healing Potion
Stun Potion
Minor Stun Potion
Cleansing Serum
If you feel your units are too squishy, you can substitute the Minor Stun Potion for Major DEF up EGG.

Hero Substitutions:
Shizu Magebane->Freya Dragoon
Purpose: Aura and skill has chance to stun

Vincent Berserker->Freya Berserker
Purpose: Deal lots of damage with skill that has attack buff


Kane Grand Ranger->Vincent Dragoon
Purpose: Aura and skill gives chance to stun

Lucille Inquisitor->Teresa Archbishop
Purpose: Provides Shield to mitigate damage taken

Ronan Mind Warder->Kai Magebane
If my Kane's aura was in the correct position, I would have brought another melee unit which had an aura of  to stun+Kai Magebane's skill silences multiple units

Runes:

Shizu: Double Strike+Attack
Vincent: Attack
Kane: Critical
Lucille: Magic
Ronan: Magic

There are two different variations of the boss in 1/2. One silences and the other swaps.


The Miu in 2/2 only silences in a cross area so some of your units can escape it if placed to the 2nd row and at the sides

Apparently, the big boss's normal attack does quite a bit of damage plus stuns so do not let him attack at all cost.

I have also heard his spell creates 3 duplicates of him so please ensure he is stunned at all times

Great vid!  However, for some reason, Miu swapped my lower right corner unit twice, which I didn't see happening in your vid.  Strange...

Sad to say, I still can't clear legend. I don't think i will be able to make it for Master.

Got the heroes but equipment not up to standard to migrate the damage. I going to just pull a Izumi to clear legend and see how from there.
