Guys i saw top rank Arena they use Ninja Shizu. Is it worth if i chang my 1st Shizu to Ninja or Assasin is better ?

Yeah, top people in the arena tend to use shizu to swap position to get a hold of the middle title.
If you prefer more PVP (arena), or if you do not have a single ninja for gold mine yet.
Ninja would be the way to go.

Otherwise, common answer would be magebane but other jobs are definitely alright. I've seen my fair share of assassin shizus too.

What's her Faith? Hera has good synergy with Assassin due to her aura that turn refreshes others when she crits. Ares would be a good faith for Ninja cuz you need to kill stuff in order for her aura to activate. Zeus is okay too if you want her a bit beefier (figuratively speaking). Magebane could use a little offensive kick too. It can CC and and AOE stun so it's also useful in Arena. Samurai has her debuffs.

It all boils down to what units you currently have though. Ninja have their trademark tile swap/def debuff going for them w/c is mainly for arena. Kai can do the job well too (although he's slightly inferior since he ain't no Valiant). Chaos Knights can also do the tile swap thingy.

It would help if you posted your unit list.

I personally have an Assassin Shizu which I use to melt down those pesky Guardians and stun units before they can use their skills in Arena. She's Hera so it fits quite well. But I went with Assassin because I already have a ninja Kai and having another ninja would be redundant.

My faith is Hera so i should go with ass but i still wonder that is her atk is enough cuz it main stat is cri.

A completely waste of a shizu with perfect faith, if you ask me.


While the meta pick is ninja, ninja is primarily used for her swapping ability, so other faiths like kratos or zeus would do better to boost her survivability once she has taken the tile position. Moreover, valiants don't come as often as their non-valiant counterpart. In this case, a low-leveled shizu ninja with hera faith is so much worse than a zeus/kratos kai ninja that can be limit-broken several times to increase his survivability, which is so much more crucial to a ninja than what a hera faith offers.


Hence, I would recommend magebane.

The main point of a Hera Assassin Shizu is that her aura may activate whenever she crits. Not all the time though. Still have RNG to consider. Since she has a naturally higher crit, her aura can proc more. Ninja has a higher aura proc percentage but you need to kill stuff first before it procs. And that may be a little hard at times. It has better effects though since it triggers per kill and the refresh includes the ninja unit itself.

Magebane is also a solid choice because she can do equally well in PVE and PVP. That CC+Stun combo is quite nice. It's a solid unit for a stun-lock combo team. Beautiful in Arena.

Assassin Shizu kinda takes a bit from Ninja and Magebane, downgrades them (1 unit stun, turn refreshes unit(s) in aura but doesn't include self) and melds them into one unit. Her poison hurts though. She can melt down those high def Guardians with the right set up.

To be honest, I like Ninja over Assassin so much that even with Hera faith, I personally think it's worth making her into a Ninja. Her aura IMO is far superior to Assassin's. And with Hera faith, there's a good chance your crits proc and you one shot something, thus refreshing your aura. Assassin's aura doesn't refresh herself, which means, she only attacks once, which means there's only one chance to trigger her aura. With my Ninja Shizu, it's not uncommon that I kill things, refresh, kill again, refresh, kill again. It's... so much fun and the power is just overpowering.

How about when you have a assassin kai, a rouge kai and rouge shizu?
I currently stuck in a choice too. I didn't make her into mage bane because her faith is not ideal(def faith) which makes me more inclined to ninja. But I also already have a rouge kai with zeus faith.

So advise and opinions?
