Hi all,
I am not a season player yet, but I believe I had my fair share of playing these games. So I will like to share with all of you what I learnt and what I feel a starter can do to level up effectively.
Energy
- it's our everyday bread and butter and comes with auto recharge and also from quests or chests.
- Normal recharge is 1 per 10 min
- Other place to get them
- Guild Chest (it is vital that you join 1 as soon as it unlock)
- Wishing Well (Considered 1 of the MUST HAVE building, the random choices might give you 8 or 12 energy)
- Daily and side quests. These are the quests that will give you energy. (You can see the rewards)
- Watermill.
- Marketplace.
- Daily lunch and dinner bonus.
Job keys
- Daily reset to the Max Cap you have. Thus it is important to finish them before the day ends
- Guild quest. (1 key)
- Expedition (if you build academy, 2 key each run)
- Wishing well (Very rare to get since only got 1 slot for the spin to hit)
- Side quest. (There are 2 all times quests that give you the keys, and they repeat a few times, but will eventually finish them)
I only focus on this 2 for a particular reason, because they are your "keys" to level your hero's effectively. Other than the 2 things on top, you need lots of gold. Other than gold mine that you can build, you can also build resources building. There are 2 resources building to build and actually, once you reach a level, leveling up your hero's to fight in heroic or legend is more important than using the materials for fusing.
Other than gold mine, you can sell off the resources to get money.
Gold can also be acquire from item selling so upgrade them once before selling earn you more gold. Try to squeeze everything you have, unless you are whaling. Or else just do it.
So once you have the 2 things and gold, effective leveling.
Everyday there a highlighted event(either xp, gold, training, or 3 of them on sunday), and a 4 hrs bonus from 6pm to 10pm.
In my opinion, for new players, clearing capitol is a bonus and not necessary, since the 1* is pretty useless and heroic onwards is very hard.
So now I only concentrate on xp and gold event. (Ya, I waste alot of time and energy to realise that)
There is also a weekly event, where everyone will talk about.
So the objective here is to gain as much gold or xp as you can.
First, know your energy cap, let day 40, you need 6 hrs to recharge close to it.(Never let it recharge fully, because the timer stop running once it hit cap)
Second, the event bonus starts at 6pm, so you minus off 6 hrs, mean you finish whatever energy you have, and let it sit for 6 hrs. (If you got more than 3 energy, use then some where, in short, don't let it recharge fully)
Third, when the event bonus start at 6pm, spam all your energy on events, on quests, etc.
This also mean that you don't do your key quests until between 6pm to 10pm.
In this way, you will be maximizing your bonus intake with everything you have.
The 2 key events that give you bonus is the xp and the gold event. Training event only increase the chance of a mega success, which if you are lucky, you don't need them, if you unlucky, having them won't help also.
So you only need to focus on storing for this 2 events which happen twice a week and a major one on Sunday.
Tips: when you complete a quest and the rewards are energy or keys, don't claim them until the event bonus. Clearing 40 energy is not hard and maybe take you 40 min depending on how long each round last. So once you clear your usual normal recharge, SLOWLY, claim the rewards. Make sure you don't claim too much that it over stack your max.
Tips: Items from wishing well and chests can last for 2 days, so even if you get them, you can wait until the event bonus and start using them.
Tips: to maximum the leveling, always check whether your hero reach max level before sending them out. I always play the weekly events. If possible, use the event hero as the killer and use other slots for heroes you want to train.(max the heroes help in expeditions also)
Example For this week event hero, only have 200% so I advise that you find another event hero ally to avoid any mishap. If you don't have a event hero, make sure you throw in a decent 5* and MUST find a event hero with decent damage. (You don't want to lose the match)
Capping the heroes are pretty easy, but the problem will be upgrading them, that's where all your golds come in. If you can, buy the 2mil bonus. If not, ONLY upgrade those that you need, (even if you run out of heroes to upgrade, which is impossible) because fodders are expensive and upgrade too. (So don't repeat my mistake)
Getting the badges are the only thing you cannot control, unless you keep buying job keys.(no point) so you need those max level heroes to push in to as fast as possible, so you can get 4* badge or 3* badge.
Final tips: please still remember to complete your daily quests to get the 15 gems, as the 4 hrs might make you forget about it, check them once a while. Also, don't worry about not claiming the rewards and letting it sit there until 6pm, like expedition quest, because u do expedition daily, so it's better than you use the keys or energy during the 4 hrs to max income or xp.
This is as much as I can think of for now, I will add information in as I recall and feel it's worthy to share. I provide a screen shot of my heroes and u see that all is cap, and I already short of gold to get fodders.
