i have a teresa archbishop level 38 and currently hunting for this event heirloom. what suffix should i aim for? wizardry or defense? thanks

I would go for wizardry. Normally the hero faith will be enough to make the hero tankier. 

Also, AI prioritizes lowest DEF hero, which normally will be the frontline Shadow or backline Mystic/Ranger. Healers have higher base DEF (and also their offhand equip gives DEF).

Yeah if she's Athena faith, play to her strengths and go wizardry

Er hmm.. I go for Def.
Wizdary aim at mag Def atk. While Def aim at mag Def health.
The primary percent for wizardry is mag and Def. While defense is Def and health.
But if you are lucky. You can get percent mag in Def and you win.
In my case, I go for Def suffix if I can.

Don't worry too much about it. Wizardry suffix definitely higher chance to get % mag compared to Defense suffix but like DavidKim says, more often than not you will get % HP and %DEF. In the end, one hero's gear alone won't make or break your team.

Yes yes.. Don't worry. Either one is OK. If you lucky.. Ur wizard give u +8% mag. Who knows. I just prefer Def.
