Leon as a crusader

Sun Oct 23, 2016 11:07 am

Is Leon a viable crusader? because when I compare Crusader over the Zealot, zealot wins in stats, in skills the crusader taunts and increase def + small heal but it's kinda useless since you can't even use the taunt in the arena the aura is just +10% of the previous job while zealot got has taunt, a pull and a damaging skill + lifesteal. The only thing I can think positive for the crusader is the outfit which is kind of cool.

A red hood doesn't look badass with those "I'll devour your bone" eyes?

But leon as a zealot no offence to the game but looks like a certain champion from a certain moba.

Haven't tried Crusader, but as I'm using Leon as a Zealot,
I would say here are is pros:
1) Life drain - workable on allies AND himself. Pretty much after this line the ONLY stat you need to build is atk, because, well, life drain. As a guardian class, his defence is pretty decent, and running sets on him gives good enough stats to tank about 3-5 hits, even in arena. His life drain also synergises well with the archer class, because low defence/hp with high atk = glass canon. But with life drain, the survival chase is higher than the slight bonus defence (which might still get archer classes dead in 1 hit)
2) Pulling - In most maps, the pesky damagers are hiding at the back. A pull allows you to kill them easier, additionally, sets up the champion class (think berserkers, not the map movement types) and shadow class (for multi-hit purposes) to hit for more damage.

Here are some cons:
1) The auto AI is TOTALLY crap at positioning Zealot, so if you auto often, it might be a better choice to go crusader.
2) I once had an interesting arena match. I pulled dragoon over to let me hit. The dragoon just leapt straight for my mystics T_T
