Help with Champion Class

Fri Nov 04, 2016 3:45 pm

Currently I have a Gladiator Vincent. I also have a Slayer Vincent and a 3* Freya, both of Zeus Faith. What class should I take for Freya? I was initially thinking of Warlord but Dragoon is a good option as well for PVP and PVE. I'm also thinking of Making Freya a Berserker and let the Slayer Vincent be the Warlord. What do you guys think?

Yeah definitely make your Slayer Vincent a Warlord he's very useful for the pull since you have so many melees.

I'd say make your Freya Gladiator/Dragoon unless you already have an Archer for CC - sleep and stun... If you already have then Berserker for more damage is fine.
Note that Freya has a 100% chance of stunning (probably reduced by resist on bosses and runes; not sure since I don't have one) so she can be very clutch in some moments.

It's my opinion though. xD

You need a warlord
Check this out
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=627
The rest is between berseker and dragoon
Imo berseker is like slay people and also slay u self
Since Freya have more advantage to just reduce armor when Vincent eat 20% hp true damage each turn, if you have a good team can provide shield and damage reduce also with a pull to take less time grab close (yea!! It's the Warlord)
But dragoon provide you stun lock if you fill all three aura spot so if you have a high defense buff team or just Lucille, go for berseker
If not, go for dragoon
And choose wisely which will be your main damage dealer since Freya have more damage from skill to passive activating chance

I have no other CC besides my Gladiator. That's the main reason why I'm contemplating making Freya a Dragoon. I also agree that Vincent Berserker is suicidal. If I ever go Freya Dragoon, I'll go with Warlord Vincent. But I'm leaning more for Warlord Freya

Well the thing is Freya's Gladiator/Dragoon/Berserker skills has a way bigger buff compared to her Warlord (although it is because Warlord got nerfed - no more 15% attack buff for party D:) and her skill and aura when compared to Vincent's Warlord is only slightly stronger - more % - with no other differences.

But it you like Warlord Freya more we can't stop you. xD It's your choice in the end! They might even revert the nerf?

I guess the question is how necessary is a Dragoon to a party?

in gold event your jump cat get you to the hole and still deal damage to any gold block near it also grab the items even you didn't see it
If you have a champion and nothing else, promote it to dragoon for gold farm
Gold is love~~ gold is life~~~

I have Gladiator Vincent, Warlord Vincent and Dragoon Freya.
Warlord was the first i trained up for pve reason. I have been using him all the time for gold/rune farming. He is decent for pve but not as good as the other champion class in pvp imo.

Dragoon Freya was the second to come. She was the one that help me clear legendary stages back then (when her stun doesnt fail). She is one of my favourite in pvp who help me stay on top 10 in the arena way back since early CBT during the mystic era. Her active skill is about 50% chance for the harder legendary boss from my experience.

I just built Gladiator not long ago for pvp reason (every champion class is very strong in the arena atm) for his 2 turns stun.

Lastly, the Berserker Vincent is actually the most fearsome unit in the arena now. He also looks very good for pve to help you dps-ing the high hp/def harder boss down. He is also the only non valiant with 25% buff aura. I rate him the most powerful unit in the game atm. The class active skill is the strongest in the game, even stronger than the sharpshooter (because of 20% higher base ATK stats) and it has 1 turn shorter CD. Sadly, I dont have enough champion to make one. Lol

Ps- imo Berserker Vincent is better than Berserker Freya because of the 25% team ATK buff aura.

Hmm I stand corrected o: (I never noticed his aura xD) but I'll ask a question too: is it worth forgoing CC for more damage?
Maybe more damage is good; I never actually decided to kill the bosses in 1 or 2 turns because I have Healer, Mystic and Guardian in my team so I can't kill any boss in 1 turn haha.

Sorry to hijack your thread @OP xD but I also have a Kratos Vincent which I was planning to go Warlord but is it worth going for Berserker now? I don't have another Vincent to go Warlord though can Ninja substitute for that?

Based on my experience though the aura proc for the chance to stun is actually resisted most of the times I rarely see it happen in legendary maps so yeah. D: I wouldn't rely on it too much.
