How about a guide to team building?

Sat Nov 12, 2016 12:22 pm

I've just noticed that a lot of newbies kind of  jump straight to the game guides forum and then post their pulls, then ask for suggestions on who to use for their teams... when it seems that their pulls are rather similar. Should we have a community effort to put up a list of suggested classes for each hero for their PvP/PvE roles?

need a great amount of veteran player to share their experience every time a patch come out to edit the guide ASAP
a thread for them to discuss freely
or a guide about a team with Mystic and Sharpshooter maybe dual healers?

Nay. If we make a list of what jobs to pick for heroes without knowing what other heroes they have, they may face difficulties clearing content. We only give recommendations based on what they currently have in conjunction with others. Certain jobs only synchronize well with others while some do not.

Guides like that are also very hard to maintain. If an update comes and screw the hero up even with a minor change. The whole guide needs to be re-evaluated and edited. This also applies to new heroes getting released. I'm not saying it's impossible, but you really need a lot of help to make this guide work, and right now we are very short-handed.

How about a generic guide about job path?
Yes we have Nightingale's guide about valiant already but that is a kind of hero preview
if we let people know about job concept which won't change any soon then the guide should work well for a long time

Actually, I was aiming for something like this:
Teresa - Inquisitor (PVP/PVE), Archbishop (PVP/PVE), Spirit Walker (PVE), WitchDoctor (PVE)

Inquisitor (PVP/PVE) - per turn heal + dispel skill/HoT.
Best paired with - HoT activate auras.
Good partners - Spirit walkers/Witch Doctors with % chance to attack enemy on being healed or poisoning enemy on being healed. Examples - Spiritwalker Luthor, WitchDoctorLuthor

Archbishop (PVP/PVE) - chance heal per damaged + armor skill/HoT.
Best paired with - HoT activate auras. People who will be attacked often.
Good partners - Spirit walkers/Witch Doctors with % chance to attack enemy on being healed or poisoning enemy on being healed. Examples - Spiritwalker Luthor, WitchDoctorLuthor. Archer classes who often get targeted.

Something like the above? So al the newbies will need to do is to:
1) Search for the 5*, potential 5* heroes that they have.
2) See what they want to do, PvP or PvE.
3) Look for good combination/partners that they have, then try.

Should make it easier for newbies who are having trouble...

The guide must be based on what a hero can do with their skill and how much effect from the others to make the hero's skill and aura be effective
Hero combine, core hero, what a specific job require on it's squad, which is one's effect is more rely on stats and which don't, faith require on a job etc etc

And easy to read
