personally for me its either dragoon or Gladiator, Berserker is really risky for her dat -30% def unlike Vincent which is doesn't do that.
yeah noticed the faith thingy supposed to be end game stuff along with items.
probably best course of action is get them 5✩ asap

how about Victoria? game gave me 4✩ Victoria crusader
also for gold event I actually want Rouge path Kai for turn refresh + 4 full AOE Mage

The -def issue with Berserker Freya is something I overlooked. However, there are lots of ways to mitigate that like HP shields and "OP" shield in case you get a Lucille.

But the real reason I overlooked it is because the devs of this game are reasonable and I believe they'll buff Freya Berserker in due time. But nothing's set in stone yet which is why my 4* Freya has been sitting at my inventory for months now. In short, currently the safer choice is to not go berserker but who knows if/when she'll be buffed which is why I told you to think ahead. Personally, I'd keep her at 4* for a while and just prepare the materials in case you really need to promote her to 5*.

RE: Rushing 5*s
No, it's not wise to rush any hero to 5*. It gets very expensive to train and upgrade 5* heroes so in most cases it's better to use 4* +2 upgrades than a 5* with no upgrades.

RE: Victoria
I wouldn't waste time and resources leveling a 2nd tank right now since you already have Faye. Victoria has become obselete in several tiers at PvP aside from Chaos Knight (swapper) due to Faye. Faye is currently and arguably the best tank in the game right now both in PvE and PvP.

RE: Mage Team
Sadly, Mages are not in a good state right now. They were damn powerful in CBT but got nerfed a lot. On the bright side, the devs are very reliable and listen to the community. Hopefully mages will be back in the meta sooner than later because my mages are itching to wreck stuff again

IMO Shadow is one of the best classes right now. All promotions have good utility uses and are pretty easy to fit into a team. I hope you get Kai or Shizu, with Kai a lot easier to limit break.

Just keep playing and farming gems through the story and dailies, always do 400 gem pulls instead of solo pulls. I'd say VF is one of the most F2P and newbie friendly games out there. Most importantly, have fun.

Now that kyon had mentioned it, in place of lucille (until someday you get it), you can use 5 star Faye's skill to slightly offset the def penalty of berserker Freya. Dragoon has movement, Gladiator stick to her allies and has a pretty good stunning skill. However, you should also consider a berserker Freya since heroic and above trial need some hefty amount of dps to clear the map trial. But that's just an advice for future.

yeah i noticed that shadows are awesome sadly this game hates giving me anything other than TANKS, Tanks Everywhere
and probably wants me to play all guardian + priest "slow turtle heal"

Seven Knights is 1st *every freaking month they have give away and sometimes within that there is an give away event for a week*
VF is the 2nd on free to play player *summon 10 heroes 3-5 is quite expensive for 400gem, 280,300,350 is good*
once I've gotten all the gems in the story there's no way i can farm them unless i have the gem cave

The thing is, upgrading 5*s can be very expensive for new players with limited resources. If you really wanna rush it, I hope you have kept all the Phoenix Hatchlings as they give a flat rate of 20% training exp regardless of current rarity. I'd suggest you to spam the event for a while and get as much 2* and 3* from Lunar Tickets.

I've been on a string of bad rolls too. Used like 2.8k Gems already with no luck for a single Vincent.

the 1-5✩ New Year Lunar Ticket?

unlock them first (you see that small lock on the top right of their status screen, just next to the 3D button? click on it if it's red.) You may now use them as fodder for training your heroes.

FYI as the hero grow their star, it'll be harder and more expensive to train them. For 5* heroes, training them using 3* hero will only fill 5-7% of the bar. And you need to pay around 7-8k gold per hero used. Imagine how many heroes and golds you'll need to sacrifice in order for it to reach 100%?

Those little chicks will fill 20% of the training bar regardless of the hero's star, at the cost of using only a single hero. Which is why you should safe it for your 5* heroes, especially after he/she reach +2 class.

You should at least have 5 of them due to the giveaway. That's instant 100% training for a single hero.

And yes, what kyon means by new year ticket is exactly that 1-5* new year ticket. You might want to spend on that after you have run out Silver Fortune Chest and 2-4* hero ticket.

ahh too bad Isabella's aura direction is facing in a rather odd directions xp. Her aura, coupled with a ranged hero, is pretty useful for farming normal maps with lots of enemies. Just make sure she gets the last hit. Anyway, with that aura direction, you should place her in the middle instead. Behind Freya and in front of Aaron or Teresa. You don't have to place anyone in Freya's aura since she can activate the stun from her aura on her own.

Please spend the silver boxes first before going with something else. It gives you items you can sell for quite a lot of gold, and some chance of gems.

As for event heroic maps, get a friend reinforcement to help. Preferably someone with already high leveled hero. If you have one, should your reinforcement is a melee, just put a weak hero in front row. The mobs will kill the weak hero fast, allowing your reinforcement to enter the battle early.

At your current team, I understand that you must have some difficulties in clearing the heroic map.

I suggest that you don't force yourself to finish the 100% achievement as there is one achievement that require you to finish all the trial up to the last heroic event map (15 trials). The last few trials requires some good dps because you have to finish the stage within limited number of turns.
