Re: Consolidated guides?

Im given 16 days to do the halloween event. Can i get every item in the event as a new player? Can i even do anything in the event with a bunch of vanilla 2*s?
If you are asking about achievement rewards from the event, its possible yet very very hard. The one causing that is the 100 arena wins achievement. With the arena that just has been reset, you could be competing with alot of veterans from a very low rank. Other than that, just spam your natural regen energy and you should be able to clear more than half of them in that 16 days.
If you are asking about the bazaar rewards from collecting pumpkins, the best place to farm those is the legendary mode which you can also do but it wont be as energy efficient judging from your 2-3* team.
Generally as a starter, I would say your aim should be set around 50% achievement chest reward. For now just concentrate on building up your team and enjoy and learn the mechanic of the game, you can always aim higher for the next one to come.
Hi. I appreciate the reply. I really don't give a rat's ass about arena. I cant be bothered to compete with toxics like hanzo.

I actually have no idea of what you're saying because I'm only level 2 atm. I just saw some screenshots and was curious about the process of getting the loots.
There aren't any consolidate guild atm, however if there's anything that you're unsure of you could actually raise a question i'm pretty sure some of the players here could help.

There's no previous Japan or Korea server like some other games, so there is quite a lack of guides around here.

- For starting out, you might want to reroll your account for Valiant hero with good faith because you will be using it a long time. (Log out by clicking your name and Funplus picture)
This is because doing Faith reroll is end-game stuff as you need a hero with same maximum rarity and result is random. My preferred valiants are Shizu, Freya and Kane.
- Use your starter unit Leon and Theia until you can find a replacement for them.
- In the early game, monster units are very useful, you can train them and use until Heroic stage.
- Collect your gems until you can do the 400 Gem pull which guarantees 1 4* unit. Hope for heros which can advance to 5-stars (check the Faith too).
- Focus your resources in training units which can advance to5 starsImage check inImage gallery, hero's "train" tab or above the hero name)
- In order to advance to next job, you have to use "job key" which will only refill once per day (12.00am GMT+8). The keys are obtained from Job Quest which is only available after Normal stage 13. Use the keys for 5-star-able characters first.
- For Halloween event, you can borrow a friend to help you. Shadow classes are most preferred because they chain hit several targets. From my friend's experience, after 3-4 days you should do fine in stage 2 of the event (if you have Shizu she will be great help).

Hope it helps a little :)
Yes it does help and I appreciate it. I've already linked my account and claimed some fb rewards so rerolling is impossible. I wish someone would have told me that earlier so I wouldn't link it yet. I have none of those heroes that you just listed.

I'm also a low to mid range spender on games. Kinda on the fence on spending for this. Any advice on that?
For low range, just buy the Emiko delivery pack for everyday gem and the early bird package since it's limited.

If you want to go mid range, all the gem packs have a first time bonus of double Gems. After Emiko and early bird, the 675 Gems pack with double bonus will get you to Prestige 7 and grant you the blue 4* armor sets (if you don't want to spend, 4* equips are farmable and craftable in later stages). In this game, set bonus matters alot so if you don't get the whole 4* set, a full 3* set will be much better. You'll also have a nice amount of gem to do some summons with (don't use them all though). I think this is a nice Prestige level to be at for mid spender.

Oops, sorry let me try to explain how this event work:
You are gonna be facing an endless horde of zombies that spawn every turn. Every zombie spawns will poison your unit until every member in your team is all dead. Each zombie killed will net you a certain amount of pumpkin depending on the type of zombie and stage difficulty you choose. There are 3 stages, normal, heroic and legendary. Each difficulties consume different energy, the harder the difficulty, the mode energy consumed, in exchange for more pumpkins drop.
There are two types of rewards you can redeem from this event. One is from completing event achievements and other is by collecting pumpkin to trade for loots. Since the question asked is whether you can get all the loots from this event, I went straight to talk about one of the event achievement that is hard for a starter, ie, to have 100 wins in the arena. (Yes, event achievements sent you around doing other things too, like doing 150 story mode stage, promoting units, etc.)

Very new player here. Is there a consolidated guide? I read on the VF facebook group that CBT players contributed to the game by sharing their knowledge with new players to justify a no-wipe post CBT.

So, where can i read guides on combat formations, buildings, farming and so on?

Eyyyy welcome to the family :D

Good advice. Haha. I haven't bought the Early Bird set yet, but it doesn't seem to show up in shop. Any idea why?

Early bird set disappears after 5 days I think.
