If you are planning to make 5x sets of 5* EQ Iron Quarry is a must. The amount of copper ores needed to make them is no joke(un-farmable amount). My suggestion is to build Iron Quarry asap in early game and save up ALL the copper ores until you are maybe lvl 60+ or when you can start to farm legendary maps for material needed for the 5* EQ then demolish the Iron quarry for other building. Also, just +12-15 your 3* EQ and skip 4* altogether.

nightingale what is your build setup like currently?

also do you breakdown 3* weapons and above in salvage yard? if i want to aim to build higher weapon set what is the ideal building breakdown?
I currently have the following structures built (From small to large).

- Strike Tower
- Shield Tower
- Mystic Tower
- Wishing Well
- Watermill
- Academy
- Salvage Yard
- Armorsmith
- Fusion Altar
- Gem Cavern

Recently I've demolished my Gold Mine for Watermill, because I'm able to sustain myself without it. Fusion Altar's expedition (12 Gold Bars) is like a mini gold mine for me now, and I get plenty of gold from the daily event. However, I don't recommend following in my footsteps. Everyone has personal preferences, better to build what you can first and find out for yourself what is good for you.

I salvage all my junk equipment I don't use. I somehow accumulated over 10k copper ores without an Iron Quarry, but that is about 2 months worth of salvaging. I can't really give you a breakdown of what to built first and what to demolish later on, buildings are quite subjective and it's up to you to find out what you want.

im lacking in coppers ore for the 4* set in the armorsmith, should i demolish my marketplace for salvage yard?
That depends, do you really need the Marketplace more than you need the copper ores? Here is what you get you get for salvaging equipment.

1* = 7 copper ore
2* = 12 copper ore
3* = 25 copper ore
4* = 50 copper ore
5* = 100 copper ore

All these in addition to a few other materials of the same rarity respectively. If you have surplus of equipment from farming constantly, then salvage yard is good to have.
umm, what level does your salvage yard need to be to salvage 3* equipments
I really cannot remember, but every level of upgrade unlocks the next rarity tier for salvaging.

isn;t it better to farm some equipments from legendary map and salvage the equipments for more copper ores?

I do not have Salvage Yard but by the time Im farming legendary I can already make 4-5 sets of 5* EQ

Sorry if it's a very late reply, I just saw your question when I'm about to post something here, but here's my answer to your question.

I don't know... But from the video guide I can see the author was Lv. 66 with town hall Lv. 18 and he's able to combine 4* weapons into a random 5* weapon using the max Lv. Weapon Forge. So this may serve as a benchmark for you.

I just want to stress that Watermill is extremely important for everyday progression. A max Lv. Watermill gives 72 energy per day (Rate is higher depending on Prestige Lv.) plus another 30 from expedition. It can be extremely helpful for farming event currencies to trade in the event bazaars. I would strongly advise everyone to get it whenever you are able.

Thank you for this info.. i dont expect it can give about 100 energy / day. Seems i need to destroy gold mine or 1 tower for this watermill

What is the daily rate of the gem cavern if I may ask? I may be the strange one to not want the gem cavern. I was thinking about these setup.
Small : Wishing Well, Watermill, Strike Tower, Shield Tower, Mystic Tower
Medium : Armorsmith, Salvage Yard, Market Place
Large : Weapon Forge, Fusion Altar
