How important is Hercules's Higher HP and Magic Def compared to Kratos' Higher Physical Def?

Paladin's active skill is more useful the more damage you receive, so I think Hercules works better on Paladin.

Its kratos all the way for both HD and paladin if you have the choice. The difference is around 800-900 points DEF or HP, but HP doesnt scale too well in this game compare to the other stats atm. This includes skill, healing and aura. If you really want more hp on your paladin, use "of defense" gear and +hp rune (pink rune).

Im thinking more the MDef from Hercules higher Magic would make up for the slightly lower Def
