prioritization when choosing rune?

Sun Nov 27, 2016 9:39 am

as the title says, what do you prioritize from the list below and why

~ set bonus / 1 tile runes
~ rune grade / number of stars
~ main stat regardless of color

I guess I'll ask this here too.

Do Crit units like Ranger or Shadow typically need ATK on their runes? or it's better to focus them on Green runes with only Crit stats?
Same goes for Champion to focus on Red runes with only ATK stats, Mystic/Healer on Orange runes with only MAG stats.

Runes can act as a fix for bad faith.
For example, you have a Hercules Blood Knight Darrion(which has tons of HP), and you want to maximize the stats gains if you don't plan to reroll faith.
Use Pink Runes that adds def. You hit two, or even three birds.
More HP, with added defense(assuming the runes are at max) and more damage from using the Active skills.

Another example is a Hera Cybella, you're better off using Green Runes that adds Atk.
Get the point?

Thanks! At first I didn't care a lot about their bad faiths and I was more referring to their skills. If skills rely on Atk, then I'd only choose Red runes with Atk. When guardian skills rely on Def then I'd only choose Blue with Def stats only.

I realised that I'm better of with that because the stats that the rune adds isn't included in the formula when computing the % bonuses.
