Hello as the title mentioned I need help to as I cannot progress in arena which is currently diamond 1 and legendary map act 3. Here is my current party:
5☆ Cybella - Sharpshooter of Ares faith
5☆ Cybella - Gunslinger of Hera faith
5☆ Kane - Sharpshooter of Hera faith
5☆ Kiera - Elementalist of Athena faith
5☆ Lucille - Inquisitor of Athena faith
As you can see my only CC is Sleep in which my Cybella Gunslinger has and she isn't cutting it sadly. And after making my choices and looking at my faith I realized all my units have Weak DEF rating and most of them have low base DEF. I based by choices on looks sadly and now it came to bite me.
I need to focus my resources on max training and farming those 4☆ equipment in the legendary map so I need help to pick and choose units to work on. And possibly help me create parties for both PvP and PvE respectively, as per the title.
My spare units (not max trained or un-trained) include:
5☆ Cybella - Royal Huntsman of Kratos faith
5☆ Teresa - Inquisitor of Kratos faith
5☆ Victoria - Chaos Knight of Athena faith
5☆ Victoria - Paladin of Hera faith
5☆ Luthor - Spirit Walker of Ares faith
5☆ Vincent - Warlord of Kratos faith
5☆ Vincent - Gladiator of Athena faith
5☆ Kai - Magebane of Zeus faith
Other notable units (also un-trained):
3☆ Shizu - Thief of Ares faith
3☆ Kiera - Mage of Ares faith
3☆ Luthor - Acolyte of Athena faith
3☆ Kai - Thief of Hera faith
among others but I believe their faith isn't desirable so I will not list them. I can state more if needed.
My problem with PvP is I simply do not have the damage to take down units at all as only Cybella Sharpshooter has respectable ATK around 6k. Others simply tickle unless they CRIT but even though it says 40% to 50% CRIT under the status, I believe I CRIT way less often than stated.
My idea is to create a Trigger-Happy team as I checked out some of the guides here thanks to our lovely frequenters. The team I believe would be decent is below, do tell me how would it work in PvE:
3☆ Shizu - Thief of Ares faith into 5☆ Shizu - Samurai of Ares faith, this girl here would be the main Trigger to my team.
5☆ Vincent - Warlord of Kratos faith, as for this manly guy here he will be the anchor of my Trigger team next to the girl above they can Trigger non-stop. I would believe?
Then I would put the rest of my rangers behind, aka
5☆ Cybella - Sharpshooter of Ares faith
5☆ Cybella - Gunslinger of Hera faith
5☆ Kane - Sharpshooter of Hera faith
What does everyone think? This team can probably carry me through legendary act 3 to the end, I hope. As I experienced, I usually fail to do enough damage before the bosses casts their skills and buffs entering God-Mode.
Another team is the I would like to call Out-Heal team, as below:
5☆ Kiera - Elementalist of Athena faith, this girl here is simply to buff the MAG of my real carries > Healers!
5☆ Lucille - Inquisitor of Athena faith, this gal here has the I AM INVINCIBLE BUTTON, what else need to be said?
5☆ Teresa - Inquisitor of Kratos faith, to provide static or stable heals over time.
Then make two tankies to take the centre tile and out heal all the damage, aka
5☆ Victoria - Paladin of Hera faith, I can reroll her faith if really needed
5☆ Victoria - Chaos Knight of Athena faith, same as above
or maybe go overkill and go for another healer instead, aka
3☆ Luthor - Acolyte of Athena faith into Archbishop? maybe. For the great single target buff and make my tank un-killable.
Or does anyone else have a different build for me based on my avaliable units above? Sorry for the long wall of text, I just simply rant on and on when I find how engaging this game can be, so many builds, so many possibilities... I simply cannot decide which path to go. And there I go on again, off-tangent.

I think your trigger team is the way to go, it is similar to the trigger team I am completing next week.

One bit of advice that I mentioned in another thread - start limit breaking your units rather than raising a bunch of different classes of the same unit (which it appears you have been doing). If you want to have a strong team, limit breaking can really make a difference.

Thank you kind sir/ma'am for taking the time to read my post. Indeed I have promoted a bunch of heroes in case I may need them and I also thought that Limit Breaking does not yield that much or make that much of a difference; although if I find the party I want I will start LB-ing it as per your suggestion.
One thing though, I know you just said not to raise a bunch of heroes but I just stumbled upon another Cybella of Hera faith, is promoting her to Grand Ranger and using her in place of one of my Sharpshooters a good idea? I believe if I put her into my Samurai-Warlord-Gunslinger-Grand Ranger formation they can potentially proc each other to the ends of Arathos. Or should I just LB my Sharpshooter?
