As per topic, does shield stack?

I have a HD faye, and im deciding on inqui or archbishop teresa(hercules).

I noticed hd faye and archbishop teresa have very similar skills just triggering off def and mag respectively.

So if a character is in both auras, does it trigger both ways?

So wondering if u experts out there will do HD faye and archbishop teresa or have 2 different types of heals?

I remember Same skill/ Same aura doesn't stack.
But this will only happen when having a exact same from yourself and ally.

On really higher arena ratings, you'll meet alot of 2 Faye comps or Faye + Teresa AB comps. Shields just doesn't seem to stack visual effects but if you check the enemy status, you will see that there are 2 shields and even if the visual expired because the other shield was already destroyed, the remaining shield will still block some damage but won't have the shield visual.

If that's confusing, here's how it works,
Enemy Faye Paladin casts barrier, if you check the enemy status, you will see that there is indeed a barrier that soaks x amount of damage.
After able to move again, enemy Faye HD casts barrier, if you check enemy status, you will see that both barrier has a seperate buff icon.
Let's say you hit one unit affected by the 2 stacks of barrier and you did 6000 damage. That 6000 damage will first try to deplete the older barrier which came from Faye Paladin, if it managed to deplete all, if you check that enemy unit, you will see that the other barrier stack would already disappear along with the shield visuals but the other barrier buff still remains even w/o the shield visuals.

As for your aura question, yes, they stack. The unit affected by the 2 heal aura will have 2 chances to proc when getting hit in an instance.

Can hd faye and AB teresa work together? Yes.
Viable for PvP? Depends on your build. If you intend to have only 1 guardian class, 1 healer, with 3 ranged, its going to get killed very very fast. Mainly due to guardians in PvP having no taunt, so enemies will aim straight at your backline. For PvE though, just taunt.
