Just pulled another 3* Zedd with Athena faith. I have already got one 5* Zedd MW (Athena) & one 5* Zedd RM (Ares).

Should I use my new 3* Zedd make an Elementalist or LB?

If use to LB, which path?

i will not recommend u to upgrade ur *3 Zedd, from my POV, Zedd almost useless in this current meta, especially if u already have mystic like ronan, kiera or talissa
i assume u still don't have depth in ur squad, so i suggest just use ur current *5 Zedd, but i really strong against to upgrade ur *3 Zedd(IMHO)

Sven Gadiator (Zeus)
Zedd MW (Athena)
Ronan MW (Athena)

I have Talissa, another Freya, Kane and Cybella but all with poor faith. Also have Izumi (Hera) and Kai (Zeus), so I guess I will focus on others first?

it seems u have typho xD "Sven Gladiator" xD, i can't give u clear advice if u not show me ur current formation also arena rank, but i will try my best

IMHO ur first priority will be kai zeus go for Ninja, & also IMHO for me zeus Kai better than Hera or Ares, solely bcs u still can easyly reach 50% crit chance with *4 event gear & also u have defesnse
i assume ur typho Sven to vincent, so 
my advice for ur squad will be Kai Ninja, Faye HD. Freya Gladiator(& i hope the aura can connect to 3 direction that have her ally), Ronan(MW), last one i still encourage u to use talissa, if u have valianite make it to athena, trust me it worth & yes almost forgot make the talissa into warlock

okay now why i need ur arena point, bcs below 3600 u can climb even ur faith still poor, & u still can use rune to hiding ur weakness in faith, & also the mind set will be different, ur objective will be each milestone, & u will know & feel how to beat each milestone by knowing why & what kind of enemy that beat u

Current formation: 1st row: Freya Dragoon, Faye HD, Sven Berserk
2nd row: Izumi Magebane, Zedd MW

My current arena pt is 1700, I find it hard to advance after 1700...Probably my equipment are weak (mostly 4*)...

So I should: 
1. Promote my 3* Freya (krato) to Gladiator
2. Replace Zedd with Ronan/Talissa (which one is better?)

I found Izumi Haunting skill quite useful, how's that compare to Kai?
How about Cybella?  Should I get a pixie to change her faith to hera and get a GS?

Tbh Izumi not my kind of shadow, & ur squad kinda very potentialy strong actually & for me doesn't make sense u stuck at 1700 xD, i really wonder how is  ur undertanding about AI in arena.
okay i will try my best to cover u up(note u should have database in mind what kind of squad that's really weakness of squad, but first of all u need clear understanding how AI should work)

1st i will tell what is the weakness of ur squad, ur squad will be weak against range unit with fronliner without guardian(here i assume there is no big gap in gear)
2nd u r strength against ...., but the obvious case u need an opponent that have 1 guardian at least so the AI will be in ur frontline advantages whether u using Freiya to first attack orizumi to first attack depend on ur opponent squad formation, the bottomline ur current doesn't have clear advantages to current meta(but idk what kind of squads are there in 1700, also so many scenario to cover)

okay what is my proposal base on ur current potential line up? my proposal will be ur frontliner using faye pair with kai ninja, & backliner ur using talissa & ronan & the same time for sven u can put him behind minja or faye but u must remember to let 1 of the sven aura empty for his summon.
but ofc there is other scenario that's using cybella GS hera, but put it in mind the cybella triiger for sven or his summon.

Sorry if not very clear because if i write it down one by one the scenario u faced it will be very long, if u have specific problem there will be a lot easier, but i hope my proposal will increase ur win rate, & i also don't know how well your understanding to arena AI, so u can decide which formation is the counter to your squad for example

I understand most but I don't quite get the warlord Talissa.  Would Elementalist better?
Any recommendation on my krato 3* Freya, promote her to Berserker or Warlord?

Warlock Talissa u mean?, yes warlock better, because warlock have no risk to ally also the pet sacrifice skill similiar to Ronan skill(which is very good)

Elementalist Talissa burn ground can damage ally... also only damaging certain targeted area, so if the enemy scattered, for example swap, the enemy swapper can't be effected, also if u target the swapper & there is ur ally sorrounding him/her, ur ally also afflicted with Damage Over Time(DOT)

For freiya choose zerker(Solely because her skill damage is insanely high) xD, i will explain later, bcs i have a strong friend in arena don't want change his zerker(freya or vinc) faith into ares & because of that he found a mechanics to break archer meta even the opponent have no guardian

i assume u really are newbie that's why i am not explaining it to you yet, & i assume u still have minimal understanding about how the AI in arena works, so i hope my explanations enough for now
