I just noticed this today, but is the townhall max level also dependent on the other building levels that you have?
Why I'm asking is that today when I levelled, I was informed that Townhall is able to go from 13->14. However, when I clicked on the Townhall, no upgrade available. It was only until all the buildings I currently have built have reached max available level that my Townhall is open for levelling again.

If this is the case, I would suggest to change it, because, it severe limits players who decide that they have built the wrong building and want to make changes later.
If its a bug, I'll just report it later if no one is having the same problem.

you definitely need to maxing out all other buildings level before upgrading town hall..
this is not a bug.. it's intended
if you built the wrong building, you can destroy it later to clear up the lot to make another building that using that lot size.

Whoa man you are seriously extremely confrontational about other people's suggestions. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I don't have anything against you but if you were an Admin you would be driving customers away left and right. Its great that you love the game and that it fits your style but you don't have to bash others.

On topic, you should rather post this in the suggestions section. While it may be vexing if you decide that you have built the wrong building especially when you are at a higher level and it takes forever to get back up, this is one of the gameplay features and at this stage, other than the important ones such as gold mine, wishing well, gem caverns, etc most others aren't really so important that it will make a huge impact on the game. If you are a perfectionist, you can always research on what recommended buildings to go for first.

Imo that system maybe not give us much choice when you level your garrison but the way this game make me think twice before take action make much more different than others
Here is my advice:
The best time to destroy and build another building is after you tap the upgrade button on your garrison
The time to build your garrison and level up other building is enough for your new one catchup with others

If I'm still unsure of a few features, so what? I'm not sure where your sense of "people MUST know everything about the game before they start playing" vibe comes from but everyone is a newbie once.

If you don't agree with my suggestion, feel free to say so. What you are posting here is more along the lines of a personal attack... even though I don't know you.

Thanks for speaking up AileCiel ^_^. Now that I know its a gameplay feature, I would appreciate that this is at least stated somewhere... or did I missed it by pressing skip all from the tutorial
