Can I ask what is the possible way for people get their job quest keys? Currently I get the daily 5, purchase 5 more and whatever is given for free..

i would say job keys are not so much of a worry, u get them quite easily.
before long you will have them piled up and still not used due to lack of gold and hero fodders to train your heroes.

I actually have 2 heroes at 3*+2 ready to be promoted, cant wait for those keys.

At what point will I see a large influx of key? I have many units I need to upgrade and my guide quest now require me to promote a unit to 5*. I need 50 job keys for that and with the rate of 10 keys a day, I need to wait 5 days before making any progress.

higher prestige level get you more keys on a daily basis and +1 more from guild quest. you can get a few more from guild chest and dailies but this are random.

The limiting of job keys is to prevent the sudden surge of 5 stars potential heroes which will create an imbalance distribution of powers among the players.
Just put yourself in the shoes of the beta players who take some time to get a 5 star and then a newbie who played 2 days alrdy have 1 5 star.
The influx of job keys will come to you when you achieve what you want which you will have an abundance afterward since you have no need to promote any hero for the time being.
