[Forum Event] Suggest an event to us and win 100 gems!

Hi to all Valiants,
 
We have a new forum event running right now, and 100 gems are to be won by the most creative and viable entries!
 
This time, we would require you to come up with game events you deem suitable for Valiant Force. The team will look out for the following points:
 
1.     Creativity
2.     How viable the idea is to be implemented in the game
3.     List of milestone rewards, or even bazaar items
4.     How will players from all spectrum benefit (new players, veteran players, F2P players, etc)
 
There is no limit to the number of winners, though each player can only win once, even if they submit multiple entries.
 
Forum members MUST reply with their suggestions and ideas in this thread along with their Player ID.

Q: How would you identify players and reward them?
A: All participants must include their Player ID in their posts.
 
Q: Can I submit more than 1 entry?
A: Yes, you can. But each player can only win once. Players trying to cheat the system to win more than once will receive the appropriate punishment.

Q: Can I edit my entry post?
A: Yes you can edit your entry post any time before the end date.
 
Q: My idea is quite similar to what someone else posted. Will I be accused to copying?
A: The team will look at the concepts, the posting date, and other details before making a decision on which entry to select.
 
Q: When will the event end?
A: The event will end on 31st January, Tuesday, at 11:59PM server time (GMT +8).
 
Q: When will the winners be announced?
A: The winners will be revealed within 2 weeks once the event ends.

HOUSE OF THE MIRRORS AND MIRAGES


INTRODUCTION:
As Leon and Theia continue their journey in becoming stronger guardians of Arathos, with the hope of becoming a Valiant someday of course, they decided to take the northeastern forest which is believed to be cursed and haunted by the witch Wenba. The forest has not been explored before and even the Valiants haven't noticed the eerie forest's deathly semblance. Theia was hesitant to enter at first, but with her great believe at Leon protecting her, her mind changed. 

Before the duo took their first steps towards the enchanted forest, they decided to inspect its surroundings. Leafless trees stood in front of them as if winter is to come near. Wilted grass and mushrooms gave off a foul odor that even the known strong-willed Freya would frown at her first smell. Crows black as charcoal were on top of the dead trees and were endlessly cawing at them. Was it a sign of an unwelcome treat? Regardless, Leon believed that exploring the forest would not only enlighten the citizen of Arathos about its true nature but would also help in proving to his mentor Darrion how much of Valiant there is in him.

The two continued to walk past through the otherworldly trees and bushes with a brave heart. Not far away from the entrance, they spotted a little girl crying as if she was lost wandering. Theia rushed to her but Leon held her hand even before she could reach her. Leon warned her that this could be a trap or a sinister being imposing to be a girl. Theia, with her promise to be a caring princess, let go of Leon's grasp and bolted towards the poor child. She asked what was wrong and what was she doing inside the forest. The girl suddenly stopped crying knowing a human has finally found her. The child first took a close look at Leon and Theia, stood up and said her mother was taken by the witch. The duo gasped as they know the stories of the witch abducting humans were now true! Braving but with a little tremble in his heart, Leon asked if the girl can guide them to their house and see if they could trace her mother's tracks. The child answered that their home is inside the forest and is afraid that the witch would come back. Theia, with unwavering resolve, assured the child that she and Leon will be there to rescue and protect her even though she is alarmed that there are houses inside the forest. She thought the area was obscure and now houses are inside it? Regardless, the two assisted the child her way back home.

At last, the three had sight of the little cottage where the child claimed to be their house and where her mother was abducted by the ominous witch. The house was not larger than the common bungalows in Arathos villages. Scratches signifying struggle welcomed them at the door. Stains of blood were also in the outlook. One could mistake this for a simple animal attack but the child was sure that this was an act of a witch. Inside, a cooking pot hab been tilted pouring out the soup which supposed to be dinner of the mother and the child. The fire cooking it was surprisingly extinguished. As they continue to investigate the cottage, the door suddenly closed very loud enough for them to notice. The girl was nowhere to be found! Leon and Theia looked at each other in fear for the uncertainty that would fold. In all of a sudden, they found themselves in a room full of mirrors duplicating their images and action - which was unsurprising to the two as mirrors would really function as is. They counted that there were 50 mirrors to be exact covering every side of the room. Even the ceiling was filled with them. As they discuss how would they escape, Theia suddenly noticed one mirror that is eerily different from the others, this mirror do not reflect any images of them. Leon knew this could be the part of the trick and decided to thrust his sword towards it! But before the tip of the sword even touch the surface, another sword has appeared out of it and countered Leon's edge to edge. Leon looked at the mirror and saw himself! Theia has noticed something weird again, this Leon in the mirror have hallow eyes, a deathly smirk on his face, and an aura of a murderer! This demonic apparition suddenly made his way out of the mirror and shaped a quick strike against Leon. Leon successfully parried his attack and formed a counter but suddenly, the crying girl appeared again. For some reason, the girl has the same hallow eyes and a suspecting smile. The child then transformed into a Lady in a warlock frock - similar to the one whcih Valiant Kiera wore in the battle of the Longfoot Castle! The lady hovered in air and said "So you are friends with Kiera, am I right? Well, let's say that I have a grudge to take on her with what she has done just to become a Valiant! She said that magic is born out of the resolve to help others and that is stupid. The right way to use magic is for domination!" Without a doubt, Leon and Theia knew this could be the witch Wenba terrifying the northeastern villages. "I am the warlock Wenba and Kiera is an old friend. Well, I suppose you will not be seeing Arathos again as you will die in my House of Mirrors and Mirages!"

Wenba conjures a magic circle around her and prepares to unleash a deadly spell when suddenly a light sphere appeared in the room and the Valiant Kiera came out of it! Kiera, with a face full of wrath, said "Wenba, stop this at once! I know it was a mistake for letting you free 6 years ago and I will do what it takes to bring you back in the magic cell prison!" 

"That is if you can fight against yourselves and make your way out in this endless mirage house!" Wenba exclaimed.


MECHANICS:
1.) All Mage Heroes (Kiera, Zedd, Ellis, Isabella, Kristoph, Endor, Lucy, Leandra, 2* Sorceress) will have 150% Stat Boost - This will lift the pressure to introduce a new hero and beneficial to the current pool of mages in the game.
2.) Players will have 2 Event Rooms (House of Mirror and House of Mirage) - Event Ladder is applicable to both as these houses will drop "Mirror Fragments"


HOUSE OF MIRROR (1st Event Room)
1.) Player's goal is to escape the House of Mirror filled with Monsters that look the same with the player's squad.
2.) Mirrored Monsters have the same stats of the Player's Squad except for the Equipment stats (In other words, the monsters are naked of any equipment but has the same base stats of the Player's squad heroes)
3.) The House of Mirror has 15 Rooms (Difficulty can be lowered when defeated - Similar in the Pillar of Exile and Pillar of Unity Mechanics)
  • Floor 1 (2 Waves) - 1st Wave (Monsters); 2nd Wave (Monsters+Wenba); Rewards: Trial1-Gold; Trial2-Gold; Trial 3-Gold

VIABILITY:
 I think the developer can produce the monster images very easy as it will only duplicate the player's squad with ease. I suggest to have these monsters "Bluish" in color to distinguish them from the real ones and create a "death" aura around them. Similar to the Frost Ascension Patch, we will have 2 Event rooms with different objective. One is to kill every monster to advance while the other room needs you to survive until you reach the other room.

The Milestone Rewards benefit every player in the spectrum as it will definitely be "easier" specially for new and F2P Players to reach 100% Completion. On the other hand, veteran and P2P Players might find this event repetitive and no challenge since it will not involve NEW Heroes so I suggest this event to be a "Filler" one in between those events with new heroes. At the same time, this can be their period to "Further" enhance their developing heroes anyways. The concept I'm trying to introduce is the "Escape The Room" without killing anyone 

I'm open to discussion on how we can further balance/improve this :)

Lore:
The an elven land is in danger, the elder elf sends a young squire, Elvin to Arathos, to ask the Valiants for help.

Mechanic:
The event revolves around a new event protagonist, which all players will receive after they finish the introductory quest.

The protagonist will NOT have increased stats during the event, and MUST be in the party for the player to start event quests.


Event Protagonist
Name: Elvin
Race: Elven
Faith : Null, will not receive faith bonuses as, Elves do not worship any of the deities, and will not receive any bonus stats that faiths give


Note: Elvin is a Free 5* potential char, has less stats compared to normal 5* heroes, because of the faith nerf, but can be LB-ed to be on par with them. All job change items for the protagonist are unique and to be acquired from the event job quests

Rune Knight,
Active : Gift of Ancient Knowledge. 5 turns
  • Cleanses entire party, increasing MAG by 15~35% of DEF
  • Taunts enemy and increases attack of self by 25% of DEF

  • Allies in Aura will receive 20% effects of runes equipped by Elvin
  • When ally in aura is hit, there is 70% to absorb 20% of damage received
Ruin Knight,
Active : Transcend. 5 turns
  • Switches places with enemy
  • Deals damage 100~140% of DEF as magic damage
  • Taunts target
Aura : Glyph power, Sadism
  • Enemies in Aura, will have decreased effect of runes equipped by 50%
  • Elvin will have 70% to heal for 50% of DEF when attacked in enemy territory (9 tiles on the left)
Elvin’s max LB limit is 8(+16 max levels) instead of 5, but Elvin needs to be at least LB3 (+6 max levels)  to have stats to be on par with normal 5* heroes w/o LB

All 3* trials in the event are “clear with only Elvin in party”

The event consists of only 5 main quests, and 2 job quests.

Quest 1, Difficulty :Normal
Quest 2, Difficulty :Normal
Quest 3, Difficulty :Heroic
Quest 4, Difficulty :Heroic, Clear 3* trial for free Elvin
Quest 5, Difficulty : Legendary

Job Quests
- You need to clear Quest 2 to unlock Elvin’s 1st job quest, and Quest 4 to unlock 2nd job quest. 
- Event Job Quests consume Job keys too

You get milestone rewards when
- Max level Elvin 3 times
- Max level Elvin 9 times
- Promote Elvin to 4*
- Promote Elvin to 5*
- Clear 50 Event job Quests
- Clear event quests 100 times
- Clear event quests 200 times
- Clear 5 event trials
- Clear 10 event trials
- Clear 15 event trials (including job trials)

Milestone rewards will give 3x 3*Elvin in total.


Bazaar
- 2~4*Stat Runes
- Skill Runes
- Elvin exclusive weapon/shield, set effect only works when equipped to Elvin
- 3* Elvin limited to 10
- Gold
- Gold smith hammers

How will this benefit
- New players: They get a 5* hero for free no? *wink*
- Old players: They get a 5* hero for free too *wink*
- The game itself : You guys get gem sales 

Note: This is still a grinding event. But gives the perception of players getting free stuff, good for times when you don't know what event should you make. 
The numbers are a little bit loose, feel free to tweak about it. you can think a side story event just for Elvin after the event, similar to Twin Tower Ascension, with Elvin's lore as the setting. with Elvin having boosted stats.

Ok, I copied Ferico's post to use as a template, and I'll keep editing as it goes. If there is anything that looks exactly same as Ferico's, well, my editing hasn't reached that part yet lol ^^


The Book of Three

INTRODUCTION:
During her travels, the sorceress Leandra Nightsong came upon a book called the Book of Three. The Book of Three was a legendary book that records events of the Past, Present and Future. Yearning to find the cause of her immortality, Leandra broke the seal which held the Book of Three. Sadly, even she did not know that she was but a mere pawn of a dark and ancient power. Wanting the book's secrets, but deemed to be unworthy of the Book of Three, the dark and ancient power has waited millenias, until one who is judged worthy could unseal the book. Now, the Book of Three is in the hands of the dark and ancient power, and Leandra, with the help of the Valiants and our heroes Leon and Theia, must retrieve the book before its knowledge is used to cause irreversible damage to the world.

MECHANICS: - Drop "Pages"
1.) All limit broken heroes will have stat boost. Limit break 0 (LB0) has no stat boost, LB1 105% stats, LB2 110% stats, LB3 115% stats, LB4 120% stats, MLB 130% stats. This makes it an interesting chance for players to move and try to use 3*, 4* and 5* limit broken heroes.
2.) Event Heroes, other than stats of 150% (MLB gives 200% stats, 10% per LB), gain additional event orbs and "Pages" just by being in the Squad (Additional 10-20%, depending on current * of Event Hero). This makes it so that players will really TRY for the event heroes.
3.) Players will have 3 Event Paths (Historic Record, Moment in Time, Everdistant Future) - Event Ladder is applicable to all as these paths will drop "Pages"

Historic Record (1st Event Path)
1.) Storyline - Player learns more about Arathos' history, especially about Emma and Ethan Godric.
2.) Upon clearing the room (completion of all trial 1s), gains a 'free' chance to try Leandra Nightsong. Meaning, once players complete all the trial 1s in the room, Leandra Nightsong is added to the Friend pool, with fixed stats (equivalent to 4* mlb unit stats). For the during of the event only, players freely use Leandra Nightsong as a friend.
3.) The Historic Record has 10 Floors (Difficulty can be only when previous Floor's trial are fully completed. Difficulty drops 10%, up to 30% max. Eg, At Floor 5, if trial 3 of Fight 4 is completed, difficulty drops 10%. If trial 3 of Floor 4 in either Moment in Time or Everdistant Future is completed, difficult drops another 10% per completion).
For the floors, I'll not go into too much detail.

For the during of the event only, players freely use "Event Hero" as a friend.
3.) The Moment in Time has 10 Floors (Difficulty can be only when previous Floor's trial are fully completed. Difficulty drops 10%, up to 30% max. Eg, At Floor 5, if trial 3 of Fight 4 is completed, difficulty drops 10%. SIEGE OF THE WESTERN KINGDOM

Recently, there are tons of monster attacks at Arathos, and it was discovered to be form a kingdom west from Arathos that was undiscovered previously. It was rumored to be infested with demons and monsters, and reigned over by the Corrupted Prince!

We recently had an event for Arena and PvE combined, so this suggestion is basically a combination of expedition and PvE.  There are 11 stages as outlined on the picture above. Stages 1-6 are the outer walls of the kingdom, stages 7-10 are the inner walls of the kingdom, and stage 11 is where the final boss resides. After stage 1-6 has been completed, an expedition may be sent out to that specific stage.

EVENT CURRENCY:
War Badges, which may be obtained from clearing the stage and from completing expeditions.
BAZAAR:
3-5* Random Equip Ticket with Might Suffix
3-5* Random Equip Ticket with Trinity Suffix

Stage 1 (Guardian Icon)
  • Guardians get a 5% stat boost.
  • 5 waves of fireballs rain the player's party as well as traps like the EXP daily dungeon. Random tiles containing invisible land mines. The task is to simply survive 5 waves of these.
  • EXPEDITION: Defend the entrance from monster reinforcements! Guardian classes get increased success rate.
Stage 2 (Archer Icon)
  • Archers get a 5% stat boost.
  • Defeat all the enemies within 3 waves, coming from both right and left side.
  • EXPEDITION: Defend the seized areas using an archer tower! Archer classes get increased success rate.
Stage 3 (Champion Icon):
  • Champions get a 5% stat boost.
  • 2 waves of monsters, with the final wave consisting of a large wall occupying 3 cells with very high HP and DEF but does not attack. Monsters will also spawn at the party's back during this.
  • EXPEDITION: Destroy the evil minions that lurk during the night! Champion classes get increased success rate.
Stage 4 (Thief Icon):
  • Thieves get a 5% stat boost
  • 2 waves of Treasure Chests with high HP and DEF. 3rd wave will be a giant treasure chest that attacks.
  • EXPEDITION: Send spies to gather information and steal the enemy's gold to weaker their arsenals! Thief classes get increased success rate.
Stage 5 (Acolyte Icon)
  • Acolytes get a 5% stat boost.
  • 3 waves of enemies, with each wave, an ally NPC (an ordinary human, more like the enemy's hostage)]will be at the back of the party. Stage fails when the ally dies any time.
  • EXPEDITION
  • : Heal the wounded, the hostages and the ally soldiers! Acolyte classes get increased success rate.
Stage 6 (Mystic Icon)
  • Mystics get a 5% stat boost.
  • 3 waves of Elementals spawn at right and left side, with the party at the center.
  • EXPEDITION:[/b]Create defense orbs to help defend our allies as well as attacking orbs to help fend nearby enemies! Mystic classes get increased success rate.
Stage 7
  • Combination of Stage 1 and 2. Guardian and Archer classes obtain 10% stat boost. Round consists of 3 waves of enemies with random traps occurring each turn.
Stage 8
  • Combination of Stage 3 and 4. Champion and Thief classes obtain 10% stat boost. Attacking treasure chests on the 1st and 2nd wave, with the 3rd wave consisting of a Giant Wall that explodes after 15 turns. Quest will fail if this happens.
Stage 9
  • Combination of Stage 5 and 6. Acolyte and Mystic classes obtain 10% stat boost. Elementals spawn at both sides, with the party at the center, and an NPC that should stay alive on the duration of the quest. Quest will also fail if the NPC dies.
Stage 10
  • No bonus stats, however, each expedition deployed from Stages 1 to 6 weakens the enemy stat by 0.5% per expedition.
  • Two waves of random enemy mobs.
  • Final wave is a 4* mini boss
Stage 11
  • No bonus stats, however, each expedition deployed from Stages 1 to 6 weakens the enemy stat by 0.25% per expedition.
  • Only 1 wave; which is the final boss.

MILESTONE REWARDS:
  • Deploy 10 Expeditions at either Stage 1 or 2.
  • Deploy 10 Expeditions at either Stage 3 or 4.
  • Deploy 10 Expeditions at either Stage 5 or 6.
  • Deploy a total of 50 Expeditions at any stage.
  • Fight 50 PvP battles.
  • Spend 800 gems
  • Spend 1,000,000 Gold.
  • Spend 1000 War Badges at the Bazaar.
  • Promote 3 heroes to 4*.
  • Finish either stage from 1 to 6 for 50 times.
  • Finish either stage 7 to 10 25 times.

Summer training camp/ Relaxing Beach Party/ Ascending Mount Arathos

A 3-part event June 2017
3 weeks training/leisure, 3rd  week ladder

Event highlights:
1)     A training date with your favorite Valiant instructor
2)     Party by the beach with your favorite Valiant and Hero and win energy
3)     Concurrent events that complement each other
4)     New terrain and stage winning objectives
5)     Compete to be the top Guild of Arathos and win exclusive 6 star armour set.
6)     Obtain a single event hero of choice on event completion.
7)     Exchange exclusive swimsuit costumes for your heroes at event Bazaar
8)     New academy costumes on sale with stats bonus


WEEK 1
 
Details:
1st Week Main event:

Back to Academy- Summer Training Camp

Training date with your favorite Valiant

Highlights:
1) Increase units training  percentage
2) Obtain relics
3) New battle map with tiles that inflict status effects
4) New Academy costumes featuring valiants and heroes in school attire
5) Learn more about valiant's and heroes character and story

Details:
  • Total of 6 maps representing 6 different job classes training ground where 6 different Valiant will be your friend unit.
  • Stages are to be cleared in teams of 4 by default. Each map will represent one job class training.  
  • The general map for each training ground is similar to event maps we have seen so far such as the snowman event. Please refer to picture where each map is divided into 3 stage difficulties with an extra 2 stages for dropping relics. 
  • The monsters in each map will drop training badges and gold.
  • Training badges can be exchanged for rewards in bazzar. (beach club ticket and more)
  • All units used must be same job as the respective job class map. 
  • Requires energy to enter the maps.
Bonus training!

If you bring units of the same job class corresponding to its map, by completing the minimum of 2 runs on each respective map each new day, you will unlock training bonus in the form of additional training 20 percent increase per unit per day (not rate, but fixed percentage).  

Example: Team consists of : Shizu, Kai, Rin, Zedd. Friendly Shizu unit. After completing 2 stages within the Shadow training ground map, shizu, kai and rin will enjoy an automatic increase in 20 percent fixed training bonus regardless of training level on their first training unit sacrificed, but zedd will not. For instance, for a 5 star plus 2 enhancement starting from 0 percent on  a Shizu, sacrificing a 1 star skeleton will result in a 20 + 1 % (?) training increase = 21% increase. This bonus is only applicable once a day per unit. (limit can be imposed, but this is general idea to help players level their units faster)

Valiant friend unit will be a maxed limit break level 40 well equipped unit. Valiant Friend unit can only be used once a day. When Valiant units are used, story is played at each of the 3 stages.


Bonus Relic Drops!

By completing the minimum of 3 runs on each respective map each new day, you will unlock a new stage where you get to battle a 4 star valiant who will drop 3 star relic. same drop rate as job class map but entries limited to 3 times per job class map.

By completing the minimum of 4 runs on each respective map each new day, you will unlock a new stage( see handwriting in picture) where you get to battle a 5 star valiant who will drop 4 star relic. same drop rate as job class map but entries limited to 4 times per job class map. 

Example:  Team: Luna, Cybella, Cybella, winry,kane. Wins against 4 star valiant Kane in archer job class map, gets 1-2 3 star relic. repeatable 3 times. If team consists of freya, cybella, darrion, kane, winry. Winning against kane will not drop relic, but only training badges.   

Friend unit will be a maxed limit break level 40 well equipped hero of respective job class ( example vincent for champion, victoria for guardian etc) . Hero Friend unit can only be used once a day. When Hero units are used, story is played at each of the 3 stages.

Screenshots above on the left shows how the map will look like for each job class. Color to be changed to reflect job class accordingly. I will explain the right sreenshot in a moment.

While there are 3 main stages for training ground % increase, each stage has a different map and winning objective. 

Normal stage will have easy spawns and follows the typical story map battle grid 6 by 3. Stage clear objective is kill all monsters.

Heroic stage will have mid tier spawns and follows the event story map battle grid of 9 by 3 with mobs appearing on both sides. stage clear objective is kill as many monsters before team loses.

Legendary stage however will have a new map. As seen in the SS on the right above, this event will introduce the idea of battle terrain with status effects tiles. Stage objective is to kill all monsters.

For example, the purple represents a poison river, the inflicts 9999 damage on a unit that steps on the tile on the end of its 2nd turn. This effectively means all units must cross the river before the 2nd turn ends. green tiles are roots that will bound the unit for 1 turn. yellow tiles are monsters and red tiles is the lava tile which will inflict 3000 damage per turn while stepping on it. This damage applies to mobs as well as units alike. Hence tiles are both advantageous and disadvantageous for player as they can use the tiles to their advantage combining with hero skills ( for example rune magnus and grand ranger knockback, and pulls) while at the same time staying in tiles for too long will result in death. 

Lore: This event allows for more freedom for developers and storyboard writers to get players up close and personal with their favorite units that they use in their team composition. A break from leon and theia story line. For example, the training ground with kane could be in a forest, and players can learn more about kane's personality and character through humor exchange or cute character insights. It offers a more light hearted yet much needed interaction with the most utilized units in teams.

Costumes: School costumes for valiant and heroes are available for sale in costume shop at discounted 480 gems, usual price 600. Come with stats bonus.


1st Week Side concurrent event: 

Party at the Beach Club

Relax with your Favorite Heroes in their amazing battle/swim suits

Highlights:
1) Obtain extra energy
2) Obtain pearls that can be sold for gold or exchanged for swimsuit at beach shop.
3) Learn more about valiant's and heroes character and story

Details: 
  • One map with 3 stages that resembles gold mine with turn counter and 10 stages.
  • 3 stages of different difficulties. Harder stages drop better rewards.
  • Entry by beach club ticket only.
  • Each stage contains clam monsters that will drop pearls. 
  • Every stage has a final boss that when defeated drops energy.
  • Energy expires in 24 hours.
  • Pearls can be exchanged for swimsuits/battle suits in beach club shop.
  • Approximately 20 000 pearls per swim suit. Exchange limited to 1 swimsuit per character/unit.
  • Drop rate is similar to snowman cones.   
  • Pearls can also be sold for gold at 500 gold per pearl.  
  • Swimsuit is available for each Valiant and Hero. 
  • Swimsuit has no status bonus but have this effect: Resists all status ailments for 2 turns once per battle. 
  • Swimsuits cannot be worn in arena.

WEEK 2 and 3

Details:
1st Week Main event and side event continues into 2nd and 3rd Week

Race to the peak of Mount Arathos

Prove to be the best Guild.

Highlights:
1) Reach the top of mountain in shortest time period to win limited edition 6 star armour set.
2) Accumulate training badges to exchange at Bazaar
3) New Event Hero: Lloyd Lancelot with 5 star potential dragoon/gladiator path
4) New Battle maps and stage clear requirements
5) Top 8 teams battle out in seeded tournament while all other teams battle in another 5 tier system in royal rumble format following arena matching using accumulated training badges.

  • First 8 Guild with 30/35 members to reach the top of the 30 floor mountain will participate in a seeded tournament.
  • Remaining guilds will be ranked based on total badges collected and the speed of getting 25/35 members to the highest floor reached within the 2nd week.
  • Remaining guilds will be split into different tiers based on criteria above and will be matched to battle for ranking following a royal rumble arena system. 
  • All guilds will participate in the same battle format within the final 3rd week. It will be a week of matching and battling for most points. 
  • Seeded tournament will be spread out over a week. Will be further explained.



New Event Hero: Lloyd Lancelot:  

Follows a dragoon/gladiator skill tree.

Dragoon:
Skill effect:
160 percent of hero attack as mag damage,
teleport unit to a selected tile. burn units for 1 turn with 100 percent of hero attack. 

Persistent Effect:
units in aura will have 95 percent chance to resist status ailments once per battle.

Gladiator:
Skill Effect:
160 percent of hero attack as mag damage in a line.
Shield party with 100 percent of hero HP for 2 turns.

Persistent Effect:
units in aura have 40 percent chance to resists and reflect status ailments once per battle.

Race to top of Mount Arathos
  • Screenshot on the left shows the battle map for each 30 floors. Monsters are in red, Green are teleport tiles, light blue tiles are point tiles that award points. 
  • Objective to clear stage is to reach 100 point. 
  • Illustration:
  • monster in the highest level awards 60 points on death, 2nd floor awards 40 points, base floor awards 20 points.
  • When light blue tile is occupied, player is awarded 30 points at highest point, 20 points at 2nd floor and 10 points in base floor. 
  • If 100 points is reached within 10 turns, all 100 points are awarded to player before multiplier.  
  • For every turn that exceeds 10 turns, player will suffer a 5  point reduction. Reduction is capped at 50 percent.
  • For every turn less than 5 that was taken to beat the floor, player will be awarded extra 5 point. Bonus point is capped at 20 percent.
  • Each level cannot be ascended by normal movement. To get to the next level, either swap, teleport, jump or go by the teleport tile but will be teleport to a random tile. 
  • Only ranger and mystics attacks can reach monsters 1 level higher with appropirate damage reductions. but heroes from level 1 cannot attack level 3 monsters.
  • Dragoon jumps and all forms of swap and teleports are able to reach level 3 directly.
  • Tiles that award points can be occupied by mobs.

Example A:
Player took 4 turns, killed 60 point monster, occupied 30 point tile. and occupied 10 point tile in base= 100 points. 
Since player took 4 turns, 5-4= 1. 1= 5 points. total points = 105 points. 
If stage is floor 25, total training badges awarded= 105 times root 25 times 1.5.
if stage is floor 5, total training badges awarded = 105 times root 5 times 1.5.

Example B:
Player took 12 turns, killed 40 point and 20 point monster, occupied 30 point and 10 point tile = 100 points.
Since player took 12 turns, 10- 12= -2 = -10 points, total points= 100-10= 90.
if stage is floor 25, total training badges awarded = 90 times root 25 times 1.5.
if stage is floor 5, total training badges awarded= 90 times root 5 times 1.5.
 

Week 3 of 3

Battle to be the top Guild
  • Screenshot of the top right shows the flag capture battle system. Flags are in blue while the rest are terrain tiles as explained in the above training camp map.
  • In this map, instead of fighting monsters, a random team of 5 from each guild is pitched against each other. 
  • Objective to win will be to capture the flag and wipe out at least 4 enemy units. Flags are worth 60 points while each enemy unit is worth 10 points.
  • Flag tiles must be occupied by own unit.
  • Matching of all other teams will first matched in royal rumble format but using overall floor clearance and accumulated training badges. after 2nd day of the third week, matching will be based on the arena score from the first 2 days. 
  • Matching of top 8 guilds will follow a seeded tournament. 1, 3,5 ,7 slit into a group and 2, 4, 6,8 is split into another group.   Please ignore the numbering in picture.

Winner of the tournament will be crowned top Guild and each member will receive a 6 star 2 armor set that gives 10 percent bonus to all stats.

Milestone Reward: 
30 percent completion: 50 gem, 500 training badges, 100k Gold, 5 Beach Tickets,  1 3 star skill rune, 1 3 star stat rune, 5000 pearls.
60 percent completion: 75 gem, 1000 training badges, 200k Gold, 10 Beach Tickets, 1 3-4 star skill rune, 1 4 star stat rune, 1 random pixie
100 percent completion: 100 gem, 1500 training badges, 300k Gold. 15 Beach Tickets, 1 4 star skill rune, 1 4-5 star stat rune,  1 hero ticket selector.

Stage bonus and conditions for the 1, 2, 3 stars will leave it up to developers to decide to balance the game accordingly.

Justifications:

Viability: 

Most of the proposed ideas core structures have been implemented or tested in some sense. 
Given the proposed timeline, if team likes the idea can be adopted by june next year.
Main changes are:

Capture the flag system which will require AI development/ training.
Multiple levels in one stage will require stage design and AI development/ training
Costumes design
Tile changes
Matching systems

Benefits:
F2P: if they need to buff up their teams, this event is good fit.
P2W: They can gain recognition for climbing Mount Arathos and fight to be champion.
Everyone wins something from this event.


MOST IMPORTANTLY. Many of my in game friends are really bored by the repetitive events and some have quit. These new proposed changes will add new gameplay elements that will reward players for not autoing and can almost find a use for every units they possess.

I will update the idea again as and when I have more things to add.

        After the end of The Great War that befall the land of Arathos, Emma's dying curse that only a few know of began to be forgotten. Six chosen sages and guardian was chosen by the kingdom to protect the six pillar said to be the portals to hellfire that emma erected from where her minions came. And like all tall tales faded with time, so as the power of the protectors of those pillars.

       In recent time, Theia and Leon went hunting in the near woods for rabbit for flesh and its fur. Instead of finding them, both of them found a collapse old man there. Leon try to help the man and found out that he is wounded, Theia try to heal the man but her healing does not give any effect on the injury. Without Leon notice, the man suddenly woke up and choke him with his hand. With all his might, Leon cant make loose of the man's one hand grip that nearly suffocate him. Thanks to theia, the man came to his senses and loosen his hand on Leon.

        Leon, still puzzled with the old man, with his sore throat began to ask questions. With his eyes glaring at Theis and him, he reach into his robe and gives them a book and some sort of a key. The only word that the man utter was "Protect The Pillars" before he became light and leaving only his robes. With the vanishing of the man that the both know no off, the land rumbles and gives ominous present in the air.

        With haste, Leon and Theia consult the incident with Kane and Keira, to their disbelief. Keira explain that the book consist of ancient text spellbinding of some sort of a protection barrier which to be a myth in the knowledge of sorcerers. The key, which does not look like one is one of six piece said to be existed in the legends of Emma's Hellfire Portals. Meaning there's five more portals out there in arathos. And through history, that is where the six faith comes from. To conceal the existence of the portal, that part is taken out from the archives of the library to preserves the peace of the lands. It is said that, with one portal open, soon others will follow. The spell and key is used to closed the portal again but with no protectors, it will only be temporarily closed.

With a serious expression on Leon face. He said "Its our time to protect".

EVENT EXPLANATION:
First and foremost, this is a suggestion. Any changes are subjected to the developers and game creators decisions.

Instead of a single special event, this are more like a monthly events or it can be a continuous event (break down to each portal or 2 portal per event), but for now i just suggest it for a weekly event

1st week ~ Kratos and Hercules portal open ( Guardian and Healers)
2nd week ~ Hera and Ares Portal open ( Hunter and Champion)
3rd week ~ Athena and Zeus portal open ( Mystic and Shadow)
4th week ~ 7th God Gate open (All class)

For each portals excluding the 7th God Gate (which will be explained later) consist of 4 tiers where it branch off to 2 in the 2nd tier with a total of 7 portals.

1st tier - Gateway portal (2 Waves / normal level / 2 energy)
               1st Wave (1* Monsters); 2nd Wave (1* Monsters + 2* Heroes)
               Rewards: Trial1-Gems; Trial2-Gems; Trial 3-Gems
               Item drop: monster, items and gold

2nd tier - Barracks portal (2 Waves / normal level / 2 energy)
                1st Wave (2* Monsters); 2nd Wave (2* Monsters + 2* Heroes)
                Rewards: Trial1-Gems; Trial2-Gems; Trial 3-Gems
                Item drop: 1* runes, monster, gold and event items

2nd tier - Armory portal (2 Waves / normal level / 2 energy)
                1st Wave (2* Heroes); 2nd Wave (2* Monsters + 2* Heroes)

Event Items: event items drops from tier 2 to tier 4 and varies between barracks and armory
                      ~ Barracks Portals - Hellfire medallions (tier 2: 1-5, tier 3: 3-10, tier 4: 5-15)
                      ~ Armory Portals - Hellfire Carapace (tier 2: 5-15, tier 3: 12-20, tier 4: 15-30)

Event Bazaar: event bazaar are corresponding to the portals that are open during that week, say if its kratos and hercules portals, the items in bazaar are more to guardians and healers
                        1- guardian 2*-4* hero tickets (redeem with hellfire medallions)
                        2- healers 2*-4* hero tickets (redeem with hellfire medallions)
                        3- guardian 2*-4* equipment tickets (redeem with hellfire carapace)
                        4- healer 2*-4* equipment tickets (redeem with hellfire carapace)
                        5- gold (redeem with hellfire medallion)
                        6- event kratos relic chest (redeem with hellfire carapace)
                        7- event hercules relic chest (redeem with hellfire carapace)
                        8- event guardian hero (redeem with 5 copy of 3* event monster from no 1 bazaar item + XXX amount of kratos relic from bazaar item no 6)
                        9- event healer hero (redeem with 5 copy of 3* event monster from no 2 bazaar item + XXX amount of hercules relic from bazaar item no7)

Milestone reward: no milestone reward.

7th God Gate Event:

          With the deaths and depleted powers of some of the protectors, the metatron cube began to resonate, a relic that has been pinpoint from the clues left behind by the protector in their spellbinding books. For centuries the whereabouts and location of the relic has been unknown to men has finally reveal itself. Mount Chronos, located at the center of all the pillars started to crumble down. What erected from it was the lost city of Ouranos. The lost floating citadel, centuries before it was a city of brilliant and prosperity. Now its nothing more than a sign of death. Six key are needed to lock the metatron cube and closed the portal for good. the cube is located at the highest tower in the center of the citadel where the light of the cube can be seen from all land across of Arathos. Unknown evil awaits for the valiant and the brave heroes of Arathos. 

EVENT EXPLANATION:

This is the final installment event for the pillars consist of 4 chapters,
1- City Ruins (bonus stat for Zeus and Hera Pillars heroes)
2- Courtyard (bonus stat for Ares and Hercules Pillar Heroes)
3- Castle guardian (bonus stat for Kratos and Athena Pillar Heroes)
4- Portal of Time (Bunus stat for all Pillar Heroes)

player need to clear normal level to unlock next chapter normal level, same goes for heroic
(examples: to unlock heroic castle guardian, players have to clear heroic courtyard before continue)

CITY RUINS:
Consist of 7 tiers 2 normal, 3 heroic, 2 legendary (players need to clear each respective level to unlock next chapter level)

Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner, my Event Suggestion will be "You and me, against the world!"

In this event, you get to choose a friend or stranger's avatar hero as a partner and you choose one from your roster, must be opposite genders.

You will face an endless wave of monsters, collecting points or event items that can be exchanged in the bazaar for cool prizes!

Equipment, gold, runes and monsters can also drop as loot and the rarity of drops go higher as you clear more stages!

Here's the thing: if either of the hero dies, you lose; thus the event name "you and me, against the world"... kind of like Romeo and Juliet.


Event exclusive hero: Cupid
Event exclusive items: Cupid's Bow and Cupid's wings (set items)


got the idea while taking a bath lol, will add more details later when I get back from my date ^_^

I'll make it short, it just a little suggest not entirely hardcore thing like other post

     it's about Hero that will gain bonus stat in event,  you should include Valiant Unit in there along side Event unit (Just give a little stat boost like 25~50% for them)
because every player should at least have 1 Valiant Unit.

     in my opinion Event might need to have limited number of times to participate each day,(ex. 10 entry per days) it's up to you guys anyway.
so new player can use some of spare Energy to spend on story mode to make them grow their team for other difficulty in event.(story mode indeed make new player leveling faster.)

i hope that these suggest might help in closing gap between Old&new player a bit by bit. 

and one more thing, i think that you guys already doing great on Bazaar & Ladder Rewards, So ~   good job.
