I was wondering if this is even possible? To trade 5* potential heroes for random 5* potential but with some Fee involved?

Only one thing came to mind, 7Knight's Synthesis feature. I won't say it is not impossible, but it's gonna take years for it to come because of our very small hero pool. Even with heavy fees, it's not gonna be easy as a 1-to-1 exchange.

Circumstances can change depending on how many people want to petition for it, it may come sooner or later depending on popularity. Also, if the Developers are going to pin it up as their priority, ultimately it is their decision whether they feel like implementing it or not after having their own discussion.

one reason i think they will not implement trading system is because of business

if they enable trading in anyway people will spend less on their gamble RNG system, and want to trade instead.

less people willing to gamble less in-come

don't expect games like seven knights, VF, summoner wars similar to their cash in-game purchases to have TRADE enable.
if they did it will be at a very heavy price
