Dear Devs,
The idea I am about to share can be quite versatile and complicated despite the simplicity of the title.
Friendship Storyline
This is with regards to the heroes that players can use in the game. A friendship event be held for two heroes such as Faye and Cybella. The completion of the friendship event will allow players to activate the friendship buff between these two heroes. The purpose of having this event is to provide something different from the usual events that have been ongoing for a period of time. Furthermore, having these events may allow players to invest more into the storyline of the game. By having more players interested in the storyline, it would be easier and more exciting to develop future storyline or side stories based on these events. Basically, it would be easier to think up more events etc.
Friendship Buff
This can be similar to the current heroes' aura, just that it is a buff that can only be triggered when both heroes are present in the battlefield. For instance, Faye will have 70% chance to defend Cybella when she is targeted by opponents. In return, when Faye is attacked, Cybella can be triggered with a revenge aura which will allow it to have 200% attack increase towards that particular enemy which targeted Faye (It could be either aura, or immediate revenge - counterattack the enemy during the enemy's turn).
Expanding current sets of strategies
It is important to note that the friendship buff does not require any positioning of the two heroes. As long as both heroes are present, that buff can be triggered unlike the heroes' aura which requires positioning. The purpose of this game mechanic is also to make use of less popular heroes in a team. It could be a 4* potential hero which is usually deemed as weak but could be strategically useful when paired with the heroes who are his/her friends.
I would love to discuss these ideas in greater details if anyone is excited about this (I know I am). If any Devs are out there, please kindly consider this game mechanic as I do think this game mechanic can really enhance the strategic portion of the game (which I believe that is the direction the game devs are going towards).
