Hi Valiants & Dev, I would like to suggest for a change in defense mechanism because currently melee units
aren't advisable to be used in arena due to them getting one shot by either ranger magic class heros.
My Suggestion is to make defense mechanism to All damage reduction (both physical and magic) in percentage.
Just an example, 1200 def = 10% All damage reduction ( Reduction Value is for Dev to decide )
As of now, most of the players should know melee class such as (Guardian & Shadow) class doesn't really fits into this game.
Because they have a high rate of getting rekted in both arena and advanture.
Currently Guardian class is basically a meatshield that doesn't really tanks, with support skills
E.g. guandian vs ranger with similar equipment rank, guardian not only do lesser damage they also took more damage and worst case is got 1 shot by crit
( Make damage reduction calculation final, so tanks will survive alittle longer )
Disadvantage of Melee class
Melee class need to move because of their close attack range.
After getting into attack range, they will no longer within Aura Coverage. ( Current Aura only support front, back, left, right )
They will never be the enemy attack target ( because the AI is fixed in such a way that they will attack heros with lower defense )
Despite having decent high amount of defense, they still got 1 or 2 shot by ranger crits ( Assuming Crit does amour penetration )
- e.g. ( previously i have a 4~5k def guardian, a ranger with 5~6k attack crits and deal 12k damage )
( My suggestion is not requesting Dev to roll out this system, but to test this system. maybe in a PTR server and test if it's workable )
My purpose of this change is to encourage players to use start using melee class in both arena and adventure and have a better gaming experience.
