Re: Most P2W game ever? A study and objective comparison.

I know that. I've spent at least 200sgd in all the mobile games I've played till date to support the dev. Will I spend 200 in this game? Probably not.. It'll get no where, same as clash Royale
Which games have you spent more? I spent tons in HIT recently and got burned...
I've spent 900 on rival kingdoms
Is that one of those city building PVP games? Like Clash of Kings.

Hope that f2p players can clear all future/current content(events). Just because it's not locked doesn't mean you can clear it without 'paying'.

What TS pointed out is that this game have too much RNG aspect. Heroes, equipments (not just one equipment needed, but 6), faith system.
Admin already confirmed from previous "P2W" threads that no content or items will be locked or exclusive to prestige players.
Like I said, just because it's not locked or being exclusive to vip players, doesn't mean people can clear the content. Look at the lulu event lol.
Lulu Event is already so easy now? I feel if everyone needs easy mode here and not a challenging game .... You are not suitable for JRPG games.
I beg the Dev don't further nerf the content so badly to fit casual players and turn me off ...

I think most users should give this game a bit more time before judging.

A team full of Valiants may not necessarily make the best end game squad. While their stats are higher, the other heroes also have pretty interesting skills which can be used to balance out the team. Is it even possible to form a perfect squad which can win in arena against all the different squad combinations?

The other day I lost a battle in arena even though we were down to 3v1 (and my 3 were near full health!).. because the opponent had a skill which caused her to take no damage for 3 turns and she was sitting on the +3 box... D':

While some may argue that there are too many features in this game which cost $, I think it makes things difficult for p2w players too. Because they won't be able to get a 'perfect team' quickly just by dumping a large sum of cash. Even having 5* equipments may be pretty useless if you don't obtain the full set.

I respect your dedication and passion for the game Hanzo but can you honestly say that a F2P player can get a lv35 valiant?
With time, yes, since all materials needed are not exclusive to any players. It is always the time (and grind) vs the spenders.
Well yah, maybe in a few decades, my grandson who takes over my account might get it. Be logical, the odds are impossible. Even whales will get turned off by this game. Players who spend will get turned off by this game because it's just too expensive to reach the peak.

Further nerf? I didn't call for that. And I never said I didn't like challenge. I stated that people should still be able to clear contents and not be so challenging that we must have op units in order to clear it. Perhaps lulu quest was a bad example to quote.

Why is it a must to reach the peak XD I am just glad there is no more sitting down waiting for skills to recharge and press XD

Anyway, change of topic, are the devs aware that they are violating Japan's complete gacha law by selling gacha set items?

i want to say that there is one JP mobage game i played that you do need same character to limit break. it is tales of link (i played global version). the difference is you dont need to evolve it all the way to 5* like in VF since the gacha is rarity based. and also there's few event that give a character that can be used to limit break gacha character. I'm still fine with the way of limit breaking, but pretty much i hope they could really make it easier so that we dont need to evolve said same character to max level (job key is limited, if only its unlimited then by all mean i will support same rarity/same class limit break)
from my POV, VF is more like korean/chinese type of grindy mobile games. Max level > evolve rarity > max level > evolve > limit break > move to other character.

The only grindy mobage from JP is Granblue, all others mobage from JP is fall from comparison of it. You need real time investment (magna farming, HL farming, coop farming, event farming (recent event gave really good weapon)). and in this game, weapon > character. Even thought most people will use SSR rarity character, but with godly pool of weapon you can beat high difficulty with only R character (there's even some mission reward for using R rarity). Yes, you cant be strong with only gacha in gbf here, you need time and dedication to farm weapon. And pls, dont give the scandal in the new year regarding anchira/andira, cygames already apologize in around march for everyone pulling in new year by giving 100% refund/rebates, then followed by legend fest, and followed by implementation of 300 pull for guaranteed pick up chara (yes whale will surely get what they want by doing only 300 pull)

Faith system, i recall this is quite similar to how typing in Brave Frontier or any other similar games both in Jp/chinese/korean market, tho i dont play BF so i dont know much if you can reroll for it. The reroll for faith here is pretty much really difficult to do since you need Maxed rarity of the sacrificed character for it so that you can use it as sacrificial

Equipment, i agree with this. but VF is more similar to korean/chinese like i said which has equip set so i cant really talk much here since i dont really play that many korean/chinese type for comparison. So yes i think the real difference for people that spend with not spending are the repertoire of equipment set.

In conclusion, this game is as pay heavy as chinese game (equipment set), mindlessly need grinding like korean for max rarity, and offers JP artwork like JP mobage (kudos to alchemaniac). If they arent planning on releasing this on JP market that have laws regarding customer for mobile game, then they wont fix some of the problems you stated
