Anyway, change of topic, are the devs aware that they are violating Japan's  complete gacha law by selling gacha set items?
I think 7K has a separate JP version to solve that. I am guessing VF will do so as well. 

Need to clarify gacha % for each item, if I remember correctly.

If they will do the same as 7k for jp version i will be sooooooooooooooooo happy, and just dig into it all my life no matter how many player are on global version..

In conclusion, this game is as pay heavy as chinese game (equipment set)
Have you played any Chinese mobile games? XD I played Dota Arena, that is really... argh. I am glad VF did not implement paywall for content and items even though FunPlus is also the publisher.

i want to say that there is one JP mobage game i played that you do need same character to limit break. it is tales of link (i played global version). the difference is you dont need to evolve it all the way to 5* like in VF since the gacha is rarity based. and also there's few event that give a character that can be used to limit break gacha character. I'm still fine with the way of limit breaking, but pretty much i hope they could really make it easier so that we dont need to evolve said same character to max level (job key is limited, if only its unlimited then by all mean i will support same rarity/same class limit break)
I too have played Tales of Link, and I think their Limit break (LB) system is quite nice. For those who haven't it basically works like below:
1. Characters are fixed at 1-5 Star and have varying max level caps based on star rating.
2. To get a 5 star character to max level you would need 5 copies of a character (Base + 4)
3. While you can use exact copies of a character to LB, they also have these characters called 'Hawks'. Hawks basically act like a duplicate of any card in LB, if its the right type (bashhawk for bash characters etc.,). Essentially you can have 1 gacha character, but then use event hawks to LB them.
4. Hawks have only be recently introduced to Global, so we can't tell how common they will be. But I would be surprised if they didn't show up in most major events (every 2-3 months).

Disclaimer: I haven't played Valiant Force so I'm not offering judgement or claims on VF. But as people are looking at Limit break systems I thought it would be nice to see another similar system for ideas.

are you playing the JP or global version?
Quite some of jp mobage have limit break feature actually, so i think thread starter need to research a bit actually regarding the limit break.  i also still play tales of asteria JP which have limit break feature, which you can limit break it by getting duplicate chara or you can manually limit break it using elemental stones and evolution stones by farming from dailies. Granblue also use limit break in weapon, character and summon. Getting stronger in GBF, you need as many as duplicate weapon as you can. But no one use gacha weapon tho lol (Moon weapon > Gacha weapon). Summon also need to be limit breaked to get stronger aura and effect, which can only be done by getting duplicate or use Limit Break Stones.

in my opinion stop benchmarking the game as we need to have maxed level valiant heroes lv 40 to win everything in the game. Valiant heroes are indeed so much similar to 7knights hero system which have superior status, but they doesn't mean anything without the best setup that can support each other they can't totally dominate the game.

 i did 12k gem summons and i didn't get any valiant heroes so far. So i totally disagree that this game is most p2w game ever, but regarding the equipment i do agree tho that we need to gacha for few times to get a decent equip to clear harder contents, then we are able to farm those higher stars equip (currently 4star dropped in legend map)

Everything goes back to the luck of the player, there are few players who didn't spend but got another valiant heroes but in the other hand people who spend few hundreds dollar but didn't get anything good.

Most p2w android game ever seen , agree with u 100%

go take a look at Fantasy War Tactics, now thats a balanced android jrpg where ull never have to spend 1 dollar to be at the top, u can farm EVRYTHING at a steady pace, evry hero can be farmed and dont need gem sink to get useless random ones, u can farm gems evryday forever but here after u done with trials in legendary u better have ur 5 perfect 5* team or else no way to get more gems then to cash for it (p2w)
 , the rewards are so fair to all f2p or cash spenders in FWT its amazing.

the ppl sayin no stop talkin shit the game is balanced, its fine. u havent played many android rpgs then cuz this game is incredible p2w

just LOOOOOOK at the rewards and drops u get in comparison to the cost needed to achieve ANYTHING really in the game??

doin legendary runs now i get 500 gold drop per run ..... while rerolls cost 100k, 50k per RANDOM try -.- , upgrade 3-4-5k etc, garison 50k etc etc etc

logged in did 5 runs no more energy didnt farm anything really i can log back out cuz no more energy -.-. i can keep goin on and on.

this game is very very good but these p2w mechanics ruin it from becomin perfect game. too bad cuz i really love this game, but ill still play the game no matter how p2w cuz i love jrpgs.

So all the top players in that game are F2P ones? Which heroes in VF cannot be obtained from farming gems and using gems to gacha? Aren't there daily free gems and also a building in garrison giving free gems daily?

Where were you when fantasy war tactics did the noblesse event?
They literally blocked heroes behind a pay wall.
(cash exclusive event unit)
I admit things in FWT can be farmed more easily, but that doesn't mean it doesn't support p2w model.
Premium gacha equipment sets in FWT have insane stat bonuses.
PVP heavily favors p2p in FWT.
