Item usage during battle resume.

Mon Nov 28, 2016 3:30 pm

Actually I just realized this not too long ago. I restarted the app a few times because of a certain bug, which of course I already reported the said bug, and saw that every items I used before I restarted the app and resumed the battle were lost, or counted as "consumed" to be more precise, even though the battle wasn't finished yet. Pair this with the bug, and it costs me around 25-35 healing pots and attack roots. To clarify things, the bug I reported annoys me like this : whenever I guarded (pressing End Turn) at the 1st fight during a boss stage (no matter how many heroes I guarded), the app froze and forced me to force-close the app.

I think all of the battle items should be reduced and counted as "consumed" after a quest is finished, and not be reduced and counted as "consumed" after every usage during the fight. Resuming a battle means restarting the whole quest, and if item usage really is a must, we will be using the items again and again which results in a heavy loss of battle items only to clear 1 quest.

Restarting the game during a battle means restarting the whole quest, so I think it would make more sense if the item usage also resets back too, right?

No Offense but i think they should not change it
Reason:
There are players out there do exploit like this including me (sometimes), and it is hard to determine who really crash and who's doing the exploit.
Exploit - Everytime a player force end-task the game, the game allows retry to the player but the game gets harder (i assume it was a penalty for abuser)
So usually abuser like "Me" would bring some Atk root to help me achieve what i'm aiming for, if they aren't consumed then i'll just do whatever i what to break the game.

I do believe there are times where game just froze/crash, but to enable resume features i think penalty like this should be placed.
If not abuser will just kept using atk root and retry stages to achieve a better result that they're looking for.

I... Never knew that the fight gets harder after a restart... And yea, I realized it can be an exploit to abuse.

Then my another opinion is, if the game gets harder after every restart, won't the usage of items also become futile? If all enemies got buffed, like twice or three times stronger, item usage won't make much difference since we can't re-choose the items we already brought into the battle, unless we restarts the quest, which will remove the meaning of the exploit itself.

However, as I said above, I just knew that the enemies got stronger after a restart so I'm not sure about attack pots + lucky factors (like crits & aura trigger) vs buffed enemies. If the already buffed enemies can be 1 shot-ed with the help of attack pots + lucky factors, then I'll take my suggestion & opinion back.
