I just think they should give better rewards on all the quests and achievements system. The beta player would not take benefits from the rework but they new player instead will have a great buff from the start.
In this way the gap would be solved pretty fast without even the need of put new offers (that both the new player and beta ones could take advantage of)
I think it is fine where it is. I been playing for less than a week and I already got enough crystals to use two 10 summon packs and upgrade my inventory a few times. And I am no where near done with all the trials that give gems (Or the achievements). And considering I haven't done the 2nd or 3rd trials yet but I will come around to those when I hit a wall in progress. And without spending any money right now (and starting a bit after everyone else) in PVP I am sitting at around a 60% win ratio. It isn't too bad.
Though I do agree there should be some nice incentives/encouragements for new players to join a game that has a per-established player base. I like the idea of a Valiant Starter pack that (cost money) and jumps start people in. They can limit it to new accounts and add time limits and it would be there to help hook any future new player as well.
