@alvinhereXD if the arena matched by the total stars that the Heroes have, then the old player can just spam their team with few *2,*3 and good equipment and contest with the new player that just start the game with a team of same stars?
I think the arena is fine as it is for now, the thing is, if ur team have the strength to climb the ladder, then u will, and those that couldnt will stay around until they bcm stronger.
And this applies to the other as well,so in the end the ladder is programmed like that. The strong will be at the top, either bcos of skill, meta, Heroes, and also luck.. of course matched with easier opponent is part of luck???

Easily abuse-able. Best to match teams based on their tiers as it is right now.
