The first one is the most attractive
but can we lower the difficulty?
can we use both a 5 star unit and a 4 star to reroll?
5 star for random faith, and 4 star AND 5 star sacrifice for the unit to inherit the 4 star's faith
+1 to this idea...
I would like to give a recommendation of my own, I don’t know if it has been suggested or no but I’d like to recommend it either way and that is creating new currency for the faith system. Very much similar to Job keys, but instead of Job Relics you get Faith Relics (They are deities after all so why not an instrument of worship?). So changing faiths require certain amount of specific faith relics (Make this for job switching as well with job relics?). But why stop there, why not have a levelling system for faith as well? We currently can train our Heroes to +1/+2, we can have that for faith, the higher the level the bigger the stat bonus according to grade. This idea may sound like a game changer to some or making it sound like faith is a big deal. But modifying faith is designed to be an end game thing after all.
Massively favors P2W players who can afford it, further amplifying the advantage they already have in the arena. Why not using the enhance weapon system for faith? You'd have to spend a tons of fodder in order to change faith.
THIS right here. As a matter of fact, faith-rerolling should be considered EARLY GAME, as the difference in stats between faiths get less significant (by percentage) with more limit-breaking and better equipments. Maybe we should rethink the concept that faith-rerolling is a late game mechanics that we F2P/low-paying players are not meant to deal with after all.Rerolling Faith is not an end game. Athena Champion/Shadow will never reach the end game. Limit-breaking is the only real end game. Unless we can switch 5* job, then that's where rerolling of faith is viable and in-demand. As of now, we depend our character job on it's faith. Let say Athena Shizu will become a Samurai, there's no point to change the faith to Hera because you're already a Samurai by the end game, so your option is to make her Zeus/Ares, but the question is, how shitty would that be to have a Athena Samurai throughout the game to the end ( if it can even reach end game ).
You have a good point. In summary, devs wanted their Faith system to be an end-game mechanics, but the concept of Faith is an early game mechanics. They think Faith is not important early game, but it is actually important early game to progress. Lucky you if you can have characters with good faith early on. But what if you have Athena Shadow, Hera Mystics and other bunch of bad faiths? What would you suggests? Account re-roll? lol. And seriously? There's no logic at all for Faith being an end game. If we can get Hera Shadow at the beginning, that's like an end game already. It's like getting a limit broken Shadow from premium draw. If you want Faith to be an end game, scratch it, or change the whole concept. If not, make it early game coz it's not that significant late game compared to early game. No point in changing Faith end game if you can't change job. No point in changing faith end game if your character can't reach end game because of bad faith early game.THIS right here.
