I'm willing to wait for the changes. But I'm not sure anymore if the devs will get the flood of comments correctly so please allow me to sum up.Just a note, please be informed that while the dev team is reading through all the suggestions, changes do not happen by snapping their fingers.
We would still need to narrow down the changes, discuss internally about tying in with other features we are working on, code them, internal test them, and tweak them before anything can be implemented.
Hence, we would like to seek your patience on the changes.
Thank you!
It's almost consensus here that 99% of comments agree that the reward should be distributed even if the boss is not killed. That's the gist of it.
Some proposes that we can have option to choose difficulty (if the boss still has to be killed).
Some proposes the ideas relating to (individual) fixed reward, (individual) milestone reward, (individual) ladder rewards (whatever words they use, they mean the same thing) which mean individual reward that doesn't require to kill the boss and no ladder competition among members.
Some proposes how to make reward for killing the boss with minimal effect to the game.
There are only 3 types of comments. Feel free to correct me if I miss any other types as it's for the better of the game.
Lastly, it's good that the devs are always willing to listen to feedbacks of players but it is much better to put in more thought about effect of the new feature in the big picture before launching them. I know it takes time to fix but the damage is already there since the launch of this feature so please fix it as fast as possible. A lot more guilds are poping up on the forum non-stop to try to avoid adverse effect the raid has been causing. It's a big surprise for the devs to create something that causes so much uproar in the community with almost consensus views against it; and causes so much adverse effect on your own game.
