Movements of Units/heroes

I was really not sure if it was a good idea or not, but in my opinion it would be cool to have more kind of movements on the units, and special units that have more special kind of movements too.
An example is like a dragoon/lancer class hero that can jump a square (even if a enemy units is in there).

Or even more simply have units that can move even on a X:

Or even steath units that can go back to enemy units for bonus damage aura.
We can have soo many combinations to improve that sistem!

Movements and positioning are really important in this game, and i think that give even more emphasis to it would make the game even more unique and tactic! ;)

I already discussed this in another post i made.

And this was their reply

"3. Rather than having the combat tied to unique movements, it is now tied to things such as normal attacks (some jobs can attack multiple enemies using normal hits) and if I am not wrong, some job skills allow heroes to jump to further spots."

And its actually a good/better idea :D
So far i love the attack mechanism it makes it unique.

i think its better to have them move x sides too , it makes no sense they can attack x way but cant walk there, and to make it more weird when doin EVENT dgn : the gold event i have to waste 1 turn just to reach the spot cuz i cant move x way. this should be changed

Movement restrictions is major dislike I have for this game. I thought it would be more like Final Fantasy Tactics with certain jobs being able to move farther but everyone is limited to one square movement. I think they did this because the grid space is limited to such a small size BUT I feel like they could have gave certain classes even just one extra movement perk like the Shadow classes. Also >Shadow classes not dealing extra damage when attacking enemies from behind. WHY!??
Backstab for rouge classes has been a thing since forever.

Bold part, I agree.

The small grid size 3x6 and limited movement, makes back stab pointless.
This games combat system is their own innovation which is pretty nice.
Changing the combat mechanics would make this game lose its originality.
As for games that resemble more traditional rpgs, you can try Phantom of the kill.

I still feel the devs should add in backstab though. Maybe not as a main highlight, but a bonus for all Shadow jobs.

Doing that would make the other classes feel less important.
Shadows already do insane dps with their chain abilites, adding a backstab to that makes it even higher. This will shift the playerbase into a one track mind where:
Shadow hero/valiant = god tier
Rest = meh tier
If they do add backstab, they will have to look at each of the other classes and end up having to add a perk to all of them as well.
Maybe in the future this might happen, but i dont  see it happening anytime soon though.
