What about cross overs with other games? Final Fantasy Brave Exvius has been doing several and they look really neat. Fantasy War Tactics was a neat one I liked also.
Maybe you'd be able to broker a deal with another game for some mutual benefits.

Eh I think it is a tough call. Final Fantasy games are developed in Japan by Square Enix, which is a developer with tens of years of business cooperations and also one with like 1,000 employees.
VF dev I think only has around 20 staff? I doubt the big companies will want to cooperate.
