If you didn't already know, faye's costume skin can only be obtained through an exorbitant 15 valianites or through a 25 USD package, as opposed to the 400 gems the rest of the non-valiant costumes use to cost.
The developers have long aware of Faye's popularity, especially in the arena, surpassing even the OP berserker. Knowingly, they have altered the methods available to purchase her, from gems, a grind-able currency to valianites, a currency that can be gotten when you are forced to spend, or just straight-cash.
"But costumes barely give any stats bonuses and if you find it too costly, just don't buy it!" No, if you're already baring this mindset, you are part of the problem.
Through our feedbacks on this forum, moderators have been gathering information about what affects us most as players to devise ways to make us spend. From the faith-rerolling faeries to this ongoing faye costume sale, even an infant can tell that the developers have been targeting what we care the most and milking us through it.
"Haha! The game has to survive on money afterall! If you can't pay, don't play!" If you bare such a mindset, I would love to see your face when the developers continue to roll out new features like nature (aggressive/docile/sturdy) that affects a heroes' stats and create a non-ideal/imperfect characteristic that forces you to spend to perfect.
What should truly concern you is the direction this company is headed and what their priorities are. As a fellow Singaporean, I would hate for you to walk down that path.
