Having the exact copy to break limit is kinda aburd, it wasted hero inventory space especially on units you don't use & you probably need to spend alot on summons to break limit specially those limited to summons only.

Idk if you could run dupes in the same party, if not why not change dupes you get into a special item called it "sphere" for example, these can be used universally on any units to break limits, of cus higher rarity dupes gives more amount of sphere compared to lower rarity. 

Then specific amount of Sphere are needed to break limit depend on it's rarity.
