Arena matchmaking based on total hero stars* of Arena Squad

instead of player level.
and cap it at a difference of +/- 2 stars max. This should encourage newer players to step into arena and resolve the problem of them getting matchmake against a team of 5*
This should also in some ways resolve the issue of newer players requesting for CBT wipe(even we know it ins't happening anyway). Because it seems like at the end of the day no matter how they put it Arena still play a very big part in their unhappiness.

Players will start using 1x 3 or 4* hero so they get matched with weaker players to boost their arena ranking, will this implementation helps? i doubt it would because if you have a deeper thought you will find alot of very easy way to abuse. no offense tho.

Not sure if you understand what i mean.. maybe you can call me crazy, i have afew of 3*, 4* max limitbreak units.. i don't mind change it just to match up with them to earn free arena rank and bloodtoken. and other crazy top tier players might do the same thing because it ensure win rate to farm blood token.. so does that actually solve the problem? answer is uncertain but one thing for sure is people that have deeper thought will think of this kinda of way to abuse the system. And i haven't even mention fairness for whales among newcomers, after trying to upgrade all their units. they get match up with top teir players.

dont matter as fighting against maxed 3 and 4 stars still easier then fighting against maxed 5 stars

What I think the biggest factor is the equipment, while the Heroes star is a relative variable,
Since 4* Heroes have shorter cd, and since in arena per turn of each player is count, so u basically just spamming ur skill if u use *4
So its just like @tackey said, if in arena works like that then people Will abuse it to win the arena

I still don't understand what kind of abuse you guys are talking about. I tested out using a team of 4* and have practice matches with my guild mate full 5* squad and have 0% win rate. Whereas against 4* team I'm still able to achieve around 60% winning rate.
By pairing/matchmaking players with similar strength together make arena much realistic.

There's a few units that's really good even without 5*'s lol.
And no you just want an easier time to climb the ladder by fighting 'fair' opponents. There's no such thing as being fair at the arena, 'realistically'. (think gladiators and tournament seeds)

So what if someone uses 2 2* and 3 5* in their team? Since it follows the total hero stars, they can get matched with a say, a team of 1 5*, 2 3* and 2 4*. I don't actually see how the 2nd team, which is probably a newbie with his 1st 5* is ever gonna win. On the other hand, the one that deliberately included 2 2* is gonna get an easy wipe.
